Yay team Sanford!

Mark Sanford's victory in South Carolina's Senate Race Freepers prove once again that their often touted morality and class matters much less than their chosen tribe winning:

dfwgator kinda encapsulates the whole thing:
Woo Hoo, Yay Team!
parisa only cares that the other side loses:
Best best BEST NEWS!!! Let every one of the mafiosofascist ozombie leftwingers be squashed to to the ground.
JLAGRAYFOX knows Obama is going down now!!.....!!!
This is great news!!! Now.....if the Stupid Republicans in the house tomorrow just simply conduct their Benghazi investigation simply gathering the facts with no political slant, we can finish off Obama...making him a full lame duck!!! I would not want to be a red state Democrat going into the 2014 mid-terms in love with failed POTUS and traitor Barack Hussein “Benghazi Murderer” Obama!!!

And....if the voters of SC-! want to dump Sanford in the 2014 primary, be my guest!!! It was not close at all. The Colbert-Busch woman got a proper butt spanking....and so did her useless, left-wing brother!!! Good!!! Now she can disappear into the obscurity she and her brother so richly deserve!!! Good Job...Stanford, and....voters in SC-1!!!
SMGFan straight up doesn't care about morality:
Search twitter etc & see Democrats saying we GOP voters should have rejected him based on our Conservative standards etc. Well, how he will vote is all that I cared about.
ConservativeInPA laments, as he's decided Stanford is a Democrat:
Conservatives have principles, ergo Sanford is no conservative.
kabar's morality has quite a bit of flex in it:
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Bill Clinton has a 71% popularity rating. He is still married.

I don't care about his personal mistakes any more than I care about David Vitter being with a prostitute. The GOP needs to stop throwing people under the bus for such issues. Let Sanford decide his own morality and what is best for him in terms of his marriage. Reagan got divorced. I could care less if he committed adultery.
cripplecreek knows if Freepers are all about one thing, it's forgiving and forgetting:
He screwed up but its in the past and now its time to look to the future.
PapaBear3625 won't fall into the Democrat trap of practicing what he preaches!
Search twitter etc & see Democrats saying we GOP voters should have rejected him based on our Conservative standards etc.

That's the trap. The Dems can torpedo any Rep candidate by just finding something that will upset those who demand saints for candidates. As long as he votes conservative on the important votes, I don't care what he does on his own time.
ConservativeInPA knows Obama is secretly a gay adulterer:
And Barry is still happily bound in wedlock to Michelle,

Talk to Reggie Bush about that one.
Resettozero is a Stanford affair truther:
Have you noticed that all of the conspiring journalists' stories, without letup, even today and tonight, always recount the official narrative of what happened to Sanford and what he did during that time? Have you noticed the constancy of buzzwords related to Sanford in the news? Like Argentine mistress, Appalachian Trail, and other such references kept alive by other posters on this thread.

Not many posters here tonight seem to doubt the yarn told by the SCGOPe, the Dems, and the willing pretenders holding jobs in journalism. Odd that some FReepers have swallowed this bait and have been so easily hooked. Now, what if it turns out one day that the story was not told straight? What then? Well, no worries; not many on this FR thread seem to give much support Mark Sanford the conservative politician anyway.

But, in spite of incidents that sometimes call it into question, I still believe that FR remains a website for conservatives.
daler has a pretty easy philosophy:
As awful as many Republicans are (and there are many), I still maintain the worst Republican is better than the best Democrat.
