Reid nukes the Senate

Herry Reid has suspended the rules in the Senate to keep Republicans from amending the Jobs Bill. This is the much balyhood nuclear option, though it's being used for something really minor there.

Freepers flip the fuck out. I think Rush is talking about martial law these days or something because suddenly everything is the precursor to Obama's takeover.

They've been sprouting for a while now. This is a major escalation. Republicans had better expect the absolute worst as this election season heats up. The Rats see this as their big chance to unilaterally impose one-party socialist rule. xrmusn checked his Constitution and doesn't see nuclear anywhere on it:

I read in my copy of the Constitution that the party in power can invoke the NUCLEAR OPTION to change the rules.
