"Words had to change their ordinary meaning and to take that which was now given them. Reckless audacity came to be considered the courage of a loyal ally; prudent hesitation, specious cowardice; moderation was held to be a cloak for unmanliness; ability to see all sides of a question, inaptness to act on any. Frantic violence became the attribute of manliness"
-Thucydides
I get that Freepers hate Obama. A lot. I get that political forums on the 'net *in general* are sewers where at best posters are prone to over-the-top hyperbole.
But I really think Freakers believe Obama is gay and that "Mooo-chelle-bacca" is his beard and that the kids aren't really his. Totally unhinged, they have become.
Anyway, regarding the photo collage. It says a lot about Freepers that two of the photos showing his gayness are simply Obama at a photo op at some kitchen wearing an apron.
I wonder if the collage artist just was desperate for material (and has a poor eye for comedy) or if it's just indicative of Freepers' 1940s view of society. Apparently dressing appropriately for kitchen work (and protecting your expensive shirt/tie/slacks) is for queers.
On the subject of Cain and black voters, a Freeper called presently no screen name writes,
"I have no doubt he will get many black voters - especially those that are Christian (in name only) who, unfortunately, voted for the con man in ‘08. I’m sure the con man realizes that."
I guess this solves the age old problem for white racist Christians. Black folks are Christians "in name only" so they won't be bothering the fine white folks in heaven.
WTF is with that "in name only" comment? He *is* referring to blacks that could potentially cross over and vote GOP for Cain, right?
Apart from that, Freepers are really fooling themselves if they think Cain is going to pull in say, even 20% of the black vote. For better or worse, blacks are a solid Democrat voting bloc, and for reasons beyond just race.
It really shows how out of touch Freepers are with both reality and with certain voting blocs. Honestly, Cain only gets the support he does from the FR horde because of his skin color. It's the same reason Palin was considered the Messiah...they really thought once all those feminazi butches saw a real woman, they'd go 98-2 in favor of the GOP in 2012.
Not much Cain coverage on Free Republic these days. Goodbye, Herb.
