Freepers are pretty excited about the electoral fallout Obama's gay marriage support.  Since in their world, there are no young people I guess?

Obama has just alienated the 10% Christian Conservative Democrats for a 1% gay vote he already had.

I don’t think Obummer expected the backlash that is to come. Everyone I know in my town is outraged. Never in our wildest nightmares would any of us have imagined a sitting President would endorse and promote artificial sodomite marriages - something considered vomitous throughout all history and throughout all cultures. I have too liberal friends . Both are legal secretaries. We had lunch and both said they would not now vote for obama. This was a change. Neither said they would vote for romney. I’m telling you he has committed political suicide. Obama is becoming more radical because he is more desperate. I am sure his internal polls are showing a giant disaster looming. Many Dem candidates don't want to be seen with him and will be distancing themselves from him on the campaign trail. Let's see how many Dem incumbents start supporting gay marriage on the stump.

Scott from the Left Coast buys into a new Freepers idea - Obama knows he's going to lose, and is only trying to prevent a blowout:

He’s just trying to hold a handful of states (Cal, Oregon, Wash, Vermont, Rhode Island, New York) so that he doesn’t get crushed worse than McGovern or Mondale did.

JLAGRAYFOX predicts landslide:

North Carolina is gone. Obama will lose every Southern state, including, Virginia, Florida and Texas. And....his losses of other states mount as every day passes. Remember, I predicted a few days back, Obama will only carry between eight to twelve states and lose the POTUS in a landslide defeat. He is on his way to a massive defeat. And....even better....he will take many other Democrat political hacks with him.
