Then there is another category. Someone for whom we do not wish their demise but who will engender no empathy from us. The evil that is Hillary is in the second category. She personally has done so much damage to so many people in her quest for power. I know it is not very Christian, but she gets no empathy from me.

A goodly portion of our incomes are being confiscated by the US, state, and local tax collectors, of which the major portion goes to fund direct payments to people who are poor, unemployed, disabled, or elderly. My town is awash with charities also collecting to give food and clothing to those same people. Our school systems are providing meals and snacks 3 to 5 times a day to most, if not all, of these same groups. PEOPLE, WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING?

I have recently come around to the thought that duels were beneficial for society. It kept people (mainly men) on their toes, in that:

• you had to watch what you said and how you said it (promoted fore-thought);
• kept thoughts of honor and what it meant in the foreground (made one think about what was said and why);
• kept people civil in interactions with each other, particularly with people they were in disagreement with ("dissing" someone could have lethal consequences);
• was a sort of an Occam's razor on what was important and what could be passed over or ignored (let one focus on what was actually important);
• made you responsible for what you said, and you had to be prepared back it up with decisive action (i.e. you had to put your "money" where your mouth put you);
• and, finally it is a legal way to "deal with" people who really tax you and disrupt your life, and get a bit of satifaction at the same time (assuming you win the duel).

Anne Frank’s family was in an Apartment. The entrance was extremely small. A person had to stoop to enter. The small squad of one Nazi cop and a few Dutch cops, could have been wiped out with one carefully thought out ambush using one 30 round mag.

With a single AR or AK, it would have been completely possible to have killed them all. Even a Remington 870 could have done fine. The family could have left and vanished out a backdoor. Very possible they could have got away.
And if they didn’t, such goings on would have meant that the Nazi police force in Amsterdam would have had to do such investigations much more tactically, with more officers, and with better weapons. This would have taxed the murder machine further. Any participant in such a murder enterprise that is targeted slows the bureacracy, the more, and the more scattered through the machinery, the better.

Most of the bases around the world (if not all of them) could be closed down and our soldiers brought home. Why do we need or have permanent bases in far distant lands? No matter what the rationalization is, the answer is NO!
