"Words had to change their ordinary meaning and to take that which was now given them. Reckless audacity came to be considered the courage of a loyal ally; prudent hesitation, specious cowardice; moderation was held to be a cloak for unmanliness; ability to see all sides of a question, inaptness to act on any. Frantic violence became the attribute of manliness"

Off to Inauguration festivities
As with any good DC native, I'm heading out of town today.
Tune in tomorrow for quality AND quantity in Tuesday Potpourri, and of course the Inaugural Freeper Tough Guy Complaining!
You know how you were looking for a liberal Freeper? I think I found the closest thing: Strategerist. http://freerepublic.com/tag/by:strategerist/index?tab=comments;brevity=full;options=no-change
that's his post history. A lot of Palin hate, reasoning, pointing out logical flaws like when someone said "no wonder there is so much violence nowadays" and he replies that the level of violence has consistently lowered since 1991. He points out shit like this a lot. Seems pretty close to what you're looking for. Maybe do a Point - Counterpoint with his posts?
Is there a way to go deeper into a Freeper's comment history, or is FR's website too screwed up? I'm kind of fascinated by Strategerist, but I can only get his last 50ish comments.
technically, you could go to google and type in [site:freerepublic.com "by Strategerist"] (without the brackets) and it will return every instance of his posts but it won't be in any kind of order.

DeleteNope, Anon. No way to go further back. All you can do is bookmark and check back in the future.
