My daughter went as Harriet Tubman one year. She meant it in a good way, and the blackface didn't strike me as a real faux pas.MeneMeneTekelUpharsin is so frustrated people don't share his particular Obama conspiracy:
It's something she laughs quite a lot about these days.
It is NOT Obama calling the shots. Arrrggghhh!!! When are people going to realize it is mega-donors behind the scenes calling the shots? All of this anger and invective is being directed at a man who is NOT in control. Turn the rage against whom it belongs, big donors who are pushing this agenda. They do NOT have Secret Service protection to stop massive protests at their doorsteps. You guys are wasting your time.arthurus explains Obama's executive strategy:
He fancies himself a sultan. Like a classic Ottoman or Mameluke Sultan he plays. They divided their time between their hunting lodges and their harems. He divides his time between Golf Course and Martha's Vineyard. Like the sultans of yore he turns the running of the government over to his Vizier, in this case Valery Jarrett.Resettozero dreams of Sarah Palin going third party. So do I.
The classic Sultans did not completely stay hands off. If the vizier screwed up, like getting beaten at Vienna, The sultan had him strangled or halved.
I noticed SP using the word “they” several times in relation to the Republican Party.Watching Freepers like GrandJediMasterYoda should be entertaining for the next 3 months or so.
Now they got absolutely no excuse whatsoever when it comes to impeaching this RADICAL MUSLIM AND ENEMY OF THE UNITED STATES posing as our President.Dave346 is not happy with the midterm win:
Massive vote fraud in the 2012 election was well documented here. GOP just refused to do anything about it.frog in a pot has decided that voter fraud mostly happens with the poor and black:
After 4 years of disastrous policies it should’ve been a landslide win for us - both the WH and the Senate were stolen.
This country is so far gone now I don’t know if we’ll ever recover.
Perhaps the most blatant examples of voter fraud appear to occur in areas that have an identifiable racial or low income makeup.Williams thinks winning the midterms is basically like when the USSR fell:
Politics is more likely to be a “team sport” in such areas and may also offer the opportunity to vote many times in order to pick up some walking around money.
Thus, in such areas it is arguably impossible to avoid the court prohibited “appearance” of using racial criteria…etc.
IF it were a slaughter I think I would get choked up and cry tears of happiness, as I did when the Soviet Union fell.Buckeye McFrog's analogy is more WW2.
Too bad some states and districts are so Dem that we can’t just sweep them out as they deserve.
I think there should not be a single Senator or Congresscritter elected from a party that supports Obamacare, Disarmament, Racism, and Illegal Immigration.
Obama is prepared to go The Full Mussolini with his phone and his pen.Flick Lives is sure this midterm will lead to Obama's Watergate!
Barack Milhous Earl Bianes ObamaGaffer Not only goes Obama=Hitler, but posits that this election is Obama's WW2 he should kill himself.
I am reminded of Hitler’s last days and the delusions of grandeur, epic plans and cowardly and drastic actions.Yep. Freepers love their WW2 analogies for the midterms! tomkat also:
At least he had the sense to end it when he came to the realization he was beaten.
Not surprisingly, Medved (and there are others like him), see yesterday’s results as much a victory against the TEA Party and conservative ideals ..Norm Lenhart has contempt but hope for gamers:
Kinda like the French gettin' all smug and frisky, thinkin' they'd run those mean ol' Nazis back across the border.
If the GOPussies take yesterday's results as anything short of 'one last chance', they'll crash/burn in self-inflicted horror when turnout the next time is the single digits.
It won’t be long before a gamer ‘faction’ rises up against the libs. People doubt me on that as many libs are gamers themselves.a fool in paradise:
Virtual reality is the last bastion of anything resembling freedom. Many gamers ‘live’ for lack of a better term online since they have had every normal pursuit destroyed in reality. They have given up on trying.
Once libs take over the gaming ‘world’ or try to, they are going to be surprised at the backlash. They are trying now as more games are being targeted for ‘social justice’ action. And they are making progress.
But when ‘they’ finially push these people too far, they will find that half of their own team leaving the field and joining the other side...us.
Paula Poundstone is employed by taxpayer funded public radio NPR. She appears on one of their sexually/politically charged game shows every Saturday/Sunday morning.I've listened to Wait Wait Don't Tell Me and...sexually charged?!
yldstrk laments that God isn't answering his prayers for smiting:
The Holy Spirit could easily step up His game, there is so much twisted evil today a little more Divine Intervention is in order. I am sick of praying 24/7 and seeing so little in the way of results.Man, I hope Mom MD's MD doesn't mean she's a doctor!
What is the difference the way Ebola spreads compared to the Flu or the Common Cold that infects many people every year?Wyatt's Torch on the endless series of Obama successes:
No difference. Except influenza and the common cold dont cause GI symptoms, so Ebola can spread in several more ways than the common cold.
LOL... Obama has no clue how to compromise. He’s never had to.Which is why we're all gay muslims now, I guess!
wardaddy has been tracking the demographics of prison rape:
I hope he is as good at playing hide the sausage with Bubba the cell mate.W.'s sample bias proves fraud:
More likely Leroy or Tyrone....not Bubba
Homosexual rape by Whites or Mexicans is rare in prison
Blacks....diff story
I know...I know...you saw Shawshank Redemption...
... there are "problems" with machines which flip votes from Republican to Democrat, and not never the reverse.
The left can't explain that away, if it were true error it would happen more-or-less equally. The proof of the theory is in the total absence of D-to-R vote errors. There are none. This tells us it is wholly manufactured by the perpetrators--the dem0crats and their operatives.
MeneMeneTekelUpharsin is 100% right.. Large donors are who control politicians. i.e.e wall street, large corporate controlled pacs etc. One reason why Wall Street was never spanked after their shananigans
ReplyDelete$$ in politics is a big problem, maybe the biggest in our Republic.
DeleteBut the puppetmaster narrative is rather overstating things.
And raging against Soros is not much different from raging against Harry Reid.
Soros is filth however you turn him. Several countries now he can't go without being arrested. He *should* have been on nazi trial. Harry Reid is mob, and so is Pelosi. Of course, money is the root of the whole problem on both sides of the aisle.
Delete1. I don't condemn someone for not taking a noble moral stand when they'r like 13. Indeed, most surviving Germans of his age would have to be condemned by that standard. And a bunch of Frenchmen.
Delete2. I'm pretty sure the rage at Soros is because of which side he gives money to. The Koch brothers are not moral giants but the right will fight for the death for their rights to do as they please. (though I think the liberal hatred at them is a bit overblown - it's the system, not them)
3. Reid, maybe. Pelosi? Fat change. Unless you just mean political machines, which have a long bipartisan tradition.
But I think you hit on the correct bit at the end. Point is, hate the game, not the players. Freepers are always making things personal. It's a stronger hate, but a less productive one.
I'll note that at the moment the right is the ones fighting against campaign finance reform...
It's not quite as simple as that, Oz. Soros was 14 at the end of his actually active service to the Germans, during which time he didn't just passively play along but actually helped send Jews to their death. He later showed no remorse whatsoever, no sign that he didn't know what was going on, and he described his time as a Nazi enforcer as "the most enjoyable time in his life". He also, then and now, justified his activity with "if I didn't do it, someone else would". Of course, the left has tried to sanitize his record but there simply is too much to blank.
DeleteAs for Pelosi, it only takes the most cursory of looks to find her family connections to the Mafia.
I'll admit I think the best of people to a fault, but I'm still not buying your Soros criticisms. First, you're saying he was an active collaborator at the age of 14. I still say that's pretty understandable at that age. I cannot say what I would have done at that age. On the one hand, that is an age of suicidal bravery, on the other, it is also when one first discovers the powers of rationalization and denial. Plus, adults still retain a bit of their old mystical authority.
DeleteYou also take issue with his lack of remorse. I'll admit I wouldn't be that cold, but absolving oneself of one's youthful dumbness does not make you evil. And if you have excused your actions, what's wrong with admitting you were happy at the time?
As for Pelosi, I think she runs a really tight ship, which I like, but sometimes speaks out improvidently, which I think hurts more than it helps.
I guess you mean Pelosi's dad?
All I could find was this quote
"Baltimore mayor Thomas D'Alesandro Jr. became the "Siciliano protector" of madames, gambling dens, and dope-peddlers. Italian American politicians-- particularly leftist Italian American politicians-- were fronts or actual members of the Mafia."
Mmm. Prejudice against Italians. Seems legit. And even if it were (stranger things have happened than corrupt politicians), that's still just guilt by association, hardly "Pelosi is mob."
I've heard some interesting things about Reid. Not mob stuff, but odd and inconsistent leadership choices. Maybe not ineffective, but not great for morale.
Put yourself in Soros' shoes, you're only 12, a bunch of big scary foreign soldiers who killed your patents and close friends point a gun at you and urge you to collaborate. Can you really blame him?
DeleteAhhhh , W conveniently leaves out the rash or Republicans caught being registered and voting in numerous states. He also forgets the report from North Carolina last week about D votes flipping R on some of the machines.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, the miniscule number of proven cases of real voter fraud are nowhere near enough to flip any election. Unless they all live in one precinct and the election has a difference of about 5 votes.
When Suzanna Martinez (R) was elected Governor of New Mexico the first time she immediately started spouting off about all the illegal alien votes her opponent got in the election. Well, she looked into it, the new Republican administration looked into it... and found that about 30 non-citizens had voted. She shut up about all that pretty quick. True story.
