"Words had to change their ordinary meaning and to take that which was now given them. Reckless audacity came to be considered the courage of a loyal ally; prudent hesitation, specious cowardice; moderation was held to be a cloak for unmanliness; ability to see all sides of a question, inaptness to act on any. Frantic violence became the attribute of manliness"

Happy Thanksgiving
No post today - I'm with my family.
Friday's set, but Saturday Pix may happen late.
I'm keeping an eye out for the Freeper Thanksgiving Sadness Thread to post next week though!
Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Ozy. And to all posters and lurkers here, and yes, to all Freepers. May your day be full of good times shared by family, and I hope no political discussion ruins the day for anyone.

ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteSame to you! Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone has a great day, even (especially) the sad Freepers. Sincerely.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the laughs!
Did Freepers just finally accidentally admit that Native Americans were screwed over by pilgrims bring them the gift of Christianity?
ReplyDeleteso are we supposed to go the same way as the Indians in his head?
Remember, the downfall of the Native Americans was a loose immigration policy and not securing the borders.
ask the indians how they think that whole pilgrim thing worked out for them.
