I'm going to ease back into blogging with a Freeper who isn't too complicated. 1999 signup Angcat hails from near where I grew up, Yonkers NY. It's a pretty liberal suburb of NYC with a good amount of minorities.
And she is not a thinker. Or a writer. Her posts are rarely more a few words, usually wishing some liberal would die. And mostly clearly not reading beyond the headline. Her style is twitter-ready, but somehow, she got thrown off of twitter.
She also has daughters, and is not subtle enough to keep her politics out of their lives. She rants about the sluttery of the world, and actively fights against any mention of Obama in school. Though despite her paranoia about it, she is sending one to college so that's something. Still, I'm mortified on these girls' behalf.

I don't know about that we have a young generation of pigs getting pregnant without any consequences it is spreading like wildfire. It is very hard to raise girls today. Seems my generation did not do a good job.Kids writing a letter to the President?! Not in angcat's America!!
My 8 year old advised me this week that her class wrote a letter to Obama. Well I flipped out. We always discuss politics so she is aware of Obama.Somehow I doubt she does a great job hiding what she thinks about college from her daughter.
I wrote a small letter to her lovely teacher asking her if there were anymore Obama related activities planned and that Obama and his wife are not the people we want our children to look up to that we hate them both.
I felt bad because her teacher wrote back a nice note that she does not preach politics in class but she thought the exercise would be nice to ask Obama how he enjoys living in the White Hut and what he would do to help America. She said the children would get a reply back from the fool who takes the letters for Obama. Anyway I felt bad but not for long. This school so far has been pretty good and neutral over the years.
Is a college degree worth the cost? It's not worth it but I would never tell that to my child she is going to college next fall. Why should she be short changed in life. My husband has to put his hand over my mouth about all this because she want’s to be a Dr. What is the future of this profession under Obamacare. It's awful.

the squirrel carcasses for the poor

quarry site that's closed now. I feel
sorry for the buzzards. They do
appreciate some fresh meal once in a
while instead of the ubiquitous road
kill.

The water is cold which causes bad
cramps AND there is so much JUNK
that is thrown in the quarry before
the water fills it up.
A neighbor boy, home on leave from
the Army went swimming with a bunch
of kids up at the old quarry at the
end of the road out here in his
overalls and shoes. Water filled his
clothes & weighed him down. He
drowned. It was very distressing.
I would have told him "DON'T GO IN
THOSE QUARRIES SWIMMING!" He did
some work out here for FANG on the
yard and he was a good worker, very
conscientious.
ANYWAY. STAY OUT OF QUARRIES!! IF
YOU want to go swimming; go to a
pool where there's a lifeguard and
don't act up!!
