Constant Fear

Whereas I take a shotgun approach to Freep watching, commenter FreepFan is more surgical (at least with what he brings to the comments). He excels in finding the little threads that directly show some facet of Freeper behavior that I've only seen implied in post after post.

Case and point, a thread FreepFan found about Freepers discussing their home security plans. In their one-upmanship it becomes clear they are terrified of people all the time.

miliantnutcase is concerned about the rash of doors being kicked in.
There’s a freeper who owns the door sentinel product. I highly recommend it. Turns your standard front door into a nearly kick proof one just by upgrading the hinges and screws. Buys you an extra couple minutes easily.
Man, the money Red in Blue PA has spent...
We have a pretty good system..

Motion sensor lights around the house (thugs are like cockroaches; they do not like the light of day).

Cameras recording 24/7 and taping all motion, also which can be accessed via smart phone.

Motion sensors on the gun safe tied directly to the police.

Motion sensors on every floor of the house.

A screen system on the windows which has a wires running through it, so that if the screen is cut, it will trip the alarm.

And other things I will not post publicly.

But if someone gets through all of that.....then they get to meet me who carries 24/7.

Good luck Mr. Thug.
Man, being a salesman in Texas sounds rough, with folks like TexasGator around:
I wouldn’t open the door at 1:30 am but when I open it at other times I inform the ‘salesman’ that in this neighborhood we go by the constable’s recommendation that one does not open the door to strangers but also indicate that someone is home so if someone opens the door they are most likely armed.
MaxMax is amazed at people trusting their fellow humans:
You would be surprised how many people answer the door without thinking.
I've gone to the wrong house before to do an evaluation on the electrical system
and had the wrong house invite me in. Awkward yes, funny, not really.
That's another reason why I always have a company logo.
trisham knows you can't trust the alarm companies, one of them once was a serial killer.
Throw your home commercial security systems in the trash, and cancel your contract. It’s one big con-job....Set up a few of your own cameras, and get a good dog....and whatever else ya need to do and there is lots which can be done.

If ya can’t do that, keep paying the bills to these home security swindlers.

I believe that the BTK killer worked for a home security company.
dragnet2 does not trust even his friends and neighbors:
BTW, my dogs are many times more trustworthy than your neighbors and your own friends and are probably are better behaved with better manners. I know this because I know people well.
NFHale knows these days the blacks are all waiting to kill whitey:
It’s just common sense to have a handgun with you. The country has changed so much, the dynamics between people and demographic groups are now more hostile than ever, and above all else - you have an absolute RIGHT to be left alone, unmolested, and safe to live out your life to it’s natural conclusion as much as possible. And you have an absolute right - Civil, Human, and Constitutional - to defend that life that God gave you.

Everyone is responsible for the choices they make in their own lives; if some thug decides “Today’s the DAY!” and winds up getting killed, it’s his own fault.

If you leave people alone, you don’t get hurt. It’s a real simple equation.

We as a country used to understand that. Most Americans still do. Subcultures, however, seem to have difficulty with that simple, basic concept.
So many reasons to carry a gun! Demographics...thugs...subcultures...

Speaking of home security, libstripper has become an oracle:
The legitimate extermination of the subhuman thug, St. Trayvon of the Skittles (SBUH), saved a large, indeterminate number of innocent lives. George Zimmerman deserves a medal.

  2. Well, in all honesty, with wi-fi cameras and sensors ... any joe average can set up a pretty good security system on the cheap these days.

However, in my neighborhood, the only crime solved by the neighbors' security systems was the "Early Morning Dog Poop Non-Picker-Upper Mystery".

    1. You are lucky. Damned lucky. :)

Or - you went active. Turned a few streets into a unified neighborhood. It doesn't take much. Amazing how much a smile and "Good Morning" does.

  3. Maybe Glenn Beck should be living in constant fear of Freepers:

  4. I was reminded of my former co-workers in Indiana with their occasional home-invasion fantasies. Thanks for reminding me why I got the hell out of there in the first place, FreepFan and Ozy.
