Joe Biden said that an Executive Order is one of the possible methods of enacting some gun control measures in the wake of the Newton school massacre.

Freepers, however, are so eager to be persecuted action heroes, they go right ahead and assume Obama has seized power and banned all guns ever. The resulting drama only underlines how powerless and silly Freepers are:

Why not discuss how the government and police have failed to protect citizens . . . just point to the crime statistics and the drug cartels which overwhelming show the inadequacy of law enforcement notwithstanding their often brave and best efforts?

Why not point to all those saved lives and prevented crimes because some good citizen intervened with a gun?

Once Obama sign this Executive Order the courts will back him 100%. It will be up to citizens to ban together and stop it, the way they stopped the British.

The answer is to organize as we did in in 1770. To band together with a pledge to stand together or hang alone. In 2013 this would require gun friendly states to pass legislation preventing the federal government from taking civilian semi-auto rifles. In these states you could set up organizations for civilians to join as likeminded individuals with pledges to come to the aid of anyone the federal government attempted to disarm. Some states have anti militia laws attempting to prevent free men from banding together. You could form groups that share contact information that link up communication with other groups that pledge to up hold and defend the Constitution and to come to the aid of anyone threatened by confiscation. There are peaceful ways to set up and organize without breaking existing state laws banning militias in order to defend the ownership of arms protected by the 2nd amendment. It is time for our own rhetoric to be heard.
