Freepers do not understand macroeconomics. The graphic is cute, though. |
Never fear, the Freeper fashion policy is still on the case! |
This is really bad. It doesn't even make it's point about moderate Muslims. |
This is only going to get more amusing. |
Guys? I think those anti-Obama revolutionaries are Soviets... |
Ironic. |
I hope Obama the Muslim spirals all the way up to FOX. |
Has Free Republic, like, died down a lot? It seems like it's so rare to see anything pass 100 replies now.
ReplyDeleteFor politics, that is true ... most of them get very little participation anymore, less than 100 replies and most of those replies are just rehashed spam reposted on every thread.
DeleteHowever, get an American Idol thread, or a Hollywood sex scandal thread, and you'll get hundreds of freepers flocking to those.
How much political power does Free Republic have? Zero. Name one Republican Presidential Candidate who would dare utter the words "Free Republic" out loud in public. LOL. Not gonna happen.
DeleteNot many non political junkies or politicians know or care who Free Republic even is. Much of the attention they get is that of a person watching a train wreck.
DeleteThey're truly the fringe, thank goodness, even though they think they represent the views of most Americans.
I fully support a red revolution to sweep out the American oligarchy and its intentionally undemocratic electoral system, with a congress divided between a senate where Wyoming is as important as California and a house of representatives that somehow manages to get even more gerrymandered than the senate.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm not sure the freepers would be happy about it.
The only revolution they seem to be interested in is shootin' the place up. They don't have any actual solutions.
DeleteOne of the most dismally confused middle east threads I've ever read.

Do these people even know what they want, or what to root for, if Obama is not in office? The only thing they seem to understand is, if the president does something, they're obligated to be against it.
$500 says they don't know the difference between Sunni and Shia without Googling it -- and wouldn't understand the foreign policy implications of that difference, even after they've read it.
These people vote...we're doomed to deal with them.
I thought Bush said "Freedom's on the march." Limbaugh said "they're marching with their feet." Is that supposed to be bad, now that it's called Arab Spring(TM)? This is what we upheaved the ME for -- right? Don't whine now that you got what your military went in to achieve.
DeleteThe Conservative nutcase summit in Iowa has been full of tasty news. Palin, Cruz and Walker have all made it clear that they want to run in 2016. The entertainment value alone will make the next presidential election worthwhile.
ReplyDeleteSarah Palin has done an exemplary job of feathering her own nest, you have to admire that. I'll bet she has 10 million dollars in the bank now.
DeleteJust goes to prove that there's one born every minute. She, like Limbaugh and Beck, pander to the lowest common denominator, and in today's climate, that pays.
DeleteWalker vs. Cruz on Gay Marriage has some fun Freeper arguing. Cruz comes in for some criticism from the Walker loyalists and there's some arguing about same sex marriage between the pragmatists and the fanatics.
