UNDER GOD AMENDMENTTheocracy now brought to you by Arthur Wildfire! March
[A multi-subject constitutional amendment. Ike said it best, “One nation, under God”]
Section 1.
Government recognition of unorthodox romantic or quasi-romantic life partners is banned.
[’Gay’ ‘marriage’ is only one of many ways they could re-brand their relationship, so I'm just trying to cover as many possible tracks as possible along with other, even more bizarre redefinitions of marriage. Am I right in thinking that ‘queazy-romantic’ also falls into the category of ‘quasi-romantic’?]

Section 2
Our Foundation Under God
All classrooms and government buildings must have the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule prominently and respectfully displayed near their main exits.
[Even at a secular level, no matter what a household believes — all people in the USA should become familiar with this cultural bedrock and unifying code of ethics.]
In honor of our nation's Judeo-Christian foundation, the aesthetics of any government may be as patriotic and unapologetically Christian and pro-Jewish as legislation permits — this includes brief moments of music that celebrates and anticipates holidays and hearkens to historic events. If local religious demographics are dominated by another peaceful faith, then that local government may also aesthetically favor the dominant religion in like manner.
Current and future coins and currency must continue to include the words: “In God we trust.”
--------------------
Section A
Anti-Religious Nuisance Suits
This is just a summary for now. I'll post specifics after this Christmas Season [aka, after the New Years drinking binge].
This is a temporary 40 year plan that is later removed. That way, it scrubs the legal community clean and then we take the ugly mop out of the ‘room’.
[That is why it's Section A rather than Section 3 — so there is no broken number sequence later on.]
--------------------
Section 3
Thanksgiving Prayer
Thanksgiving is now an official day of unified prayer and feasting. Federal legislation is restricted to mandate a five minute broadcast on Thanksgiving and a broadcast over public school sound systems prior to the Thanksgiving break. The Federal Thanksgiving prayer is strictly limited to counting our nation's many blessings and giving thanks to our Creator. Teachers should remind students in advance that all prayers in the USA are strictly voluntary.
[I had considered making this the top section, but ‘gay marriage’ is an outrage that currently deserves emphasis. State legislators will be the ones to reshuffle numerical priorities as they deliberate these ideas.]

I'm sure this guy wishs that hand maidens tale was taking place right now
ReplyDeleteI would like to remind this superpatriot that the first four commandments are blatantly unconstitutional.
ReplyDeleteYou shall have no other gods before Me.
You shall not make idols.
You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
and remember folks, Vote Republican!
ReplyDeleteFree Republic! Where freedom is wrong!
ReplyDeleteAgree with the hive mind or die!
So, did they ever get around to another thread on the subject? The holiday drinking binge (which would be punished severely in the theocracy they day they want) has been over for a couple of months now.
ReplyDeleteOr did it go the way of most Freeper blusters:
Alcohol fueled bloviating, followed by demands to conform or get out of "their" America; followed by the insistence that only Palin-Gingrich-Levin-Rush-Walker-Romney-Bush-Cheney can save them; leading to reminiscing about a history that never was; followed by the inevitable hangover; and finally no mention till the next binge?
In this creepy rambling, he says "In the 2012 Convention, the DNC booed God three times."
ReplyDeleteI guess he meant when Democrats tried to add language that identified Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, that's what he means.
You never know with these people though. Sometimes I wish I could ask them without being called a troll and getting the Zot.
If this is the case, that's hardly an example of "Booing God."
