America's warships turned back Iranian ships with weapons for rebels in Yemen. Freepers, however, do not live in a world of sufficient nuance that Obama's military can do anything right, especially where Muslims are concerned. Like the opposite of Fox Mulder, they want to disbelieve.
So enter conspiracy and speculation. Freepers have their extreme narrative, and just manufacture a smokescreen of facts that keeps them from looking too dumb in still sticking to it.
Lil Flower finds some minor differences in press releases, thus proving nothing is real:
The article you link to says it ported on Thursday and the article for this thread said they left on Thursday. It’s impossible to offload all that cargo in less than a day. The sources at the Pentagon say they turned around Thursday.DoughtyOne starts with grudging acceptance, but quickly turns to the much more comforting paranoid speculation:
They couldn’t even get their story straight between them and the State Dept.as to why our carriers ships were even over there?
I frankly don’t know who to believe but I know I don’t trust anyone in this damn government.
Despite himself, Obama may have actually accomplished something decent.nicmarlo cannot believe Iran fears the US:
On the other hand: Obama, “Eh, thanks a lot you guys. I look ever so much more ‘not the turd’ of the U. S. right now.” Ayatollah: “No problem brother...”
Exactly. They aren’t afraid of our warships because they know the ‘commander’ in chief is really the clown in chief who’s afraid of his own shadow and would never issue any orders to the military to attack.ozarkgirl is sure this is a ploy by Iran's vast navy:
The nine ship fleet was a ploy to distract the US ships - wonder where the real arms are.Diogenesis is so crazy he skips directly to believing crap he made up:
The Iranians completed the weapons transferdware is conflicted between loyalty to the Navy and paranoia:
and are heading home, protected by the Obola Hussein,
the undocumented First Moslem of the White Mosque.
Interesting. Every fiber of my being says there is no way this would have been an escort mission, but I ain’t putting nothing beyond Obola and crew.treetopsandroofs does not take kindly to a Freeper with actual naval experience:
there's no way these ships docked, offloaded those weapons and left in less than a day. Hence, they turned away before they could do this. Simple deduction my dear Watson. The first report was bogus.VanShuyten knows the True Facts:
I asked “Why should we assume he has done anything of benefit to us now?” and you told me.
Yes, trust First Citizen Obama.
Elementary... or is that not a condescending enough reply to you?
You should look into how third world ports work.Carry_Okie exhorts Freepers to exercise more imagination:
A gangplank and a hundred coolies is all that’s needed.
LOL, you apparently lack imagination. Think of the mischief to be derived with Somalis and Boko Haram cruising through Aden on their way to Mecca! Think of the arms sales to the Saudis. Think of a final battle over a stupid rock in the Kaaba!
Now that's payback. Diversity is our strength!
Ain't it fun? (not)
Looks like the creep a thon is down to barely a percentage point a day
ReplyDeleteIn Freepers' fanfictions, Obama is as big a failure, if not bigger, than George W. Bush.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of failure . . . Freepers' failure to understand Mexico and Central America is just about limitless. The same people who went nuts over Elian Gonzalez being sent back to Cuba are the same ones who cheered turning busloads of children from Central America away, at gunpoint no less. The hypocrisy is breathtaking. And it's obvious they completely missed Al Madrigal's point.
