So if FR's ISP (or any conservative site's ISP) decides they want to limit traffic to their website for any reason, without NN, they have that right. Obama basically stood against ISPs and upheld the right of creepy Freepers to visit their hate-filled site without the fear of having access limited by ISPs.

ReplyDeleteNow's the point when the faking really starts, so I'm going to at least try to keep tabs on how blatant it is. As a starting point, I'd say over the past couple weeks the freepathon has been creeping slowly, sloooowly forward at something like 1-2% a day. And, it needs to be emphasized, that INCLUDES all the times that Jim would "process a new batch of monthlies" that would usually add at least $500 or so to the kitty.
So now that the entire balance of the monthlies has been counted (according to Honest Jim), I'll try to keep at least a vague track of how Jim keeps the meter going up despite the fact that all basic common sense states that he's not getting any more than a trickle of donations until the next 'thon starts.

The only ones who give after the first month are the poor souls who feel guilted into giving two, three, even four times over the course.

JimRob has to account for 22% over the next seven days. Lets just say that works out to 3% per day.
Even when he "added in some monthlies" over the last seven weeks, the thon never added more than 2% per day. Generally, it only increased by 1% daily, and I believe he did the occasional fakery just to make a 1% per day change some days.
I don't keep track near as closely as you guys, but I do recall the last three years you could pretty much predict it would be 4% after the second day, then 1% per day until the "monthlies" got rolled in whenever.
