Faith plus drama

For the most part Free Republic's religion forum is of the form "Here is a long series of biblical block quotes that prove I am right about this minor by passionately debated doctrinal point." If I weren't raised Unitarian, it might be amusing. But for the most part, I focus on Free Republic's public policy-based madness, not their more metaphysical ideas. But their reaction to a "black mass" that was going to be held to make a point about religious freedom turned out to be less about public policy and more about what they heard went on at a black mass. It's pretty interesting, even if you're not into that sort of thing.
