A little summer hyperbole

I guess Freepers still had a bunch of rage left over from when Dems tried to pass health care reform through "Deem and Pass." Cause when the budget just got passed through this procedure (as has happened countless times before), Freepers were suddenly having apocalyptic, insurrectionist flashbacks.

TexasCajun thinks the filibuster is in the Constitutional, I guess:
Bipartisan Opposition!

This has to be unconstitutional !
ecomcon is not happy thet her side is sometimes outvoted:

We are moving inexorably to a one party system. We are disfranchised when our representatives are barred from voting.

The democrats are completely out of control and ignoring law as they see fit and nothing is done to stop them.

Our votes mean NOTHING.

reagan_fanatic makes things a bit more dramatic:
Treason

Yes it is. The democrats are fast becoming out-in-the-open dictatorial fascists.
thecabal uses metaphor to top the drama heap:

The mask has almost completely slipped off their lizard faces.

Rome2000 is a political genius!
OK, I wonder if it ever occurred to the idiot GOP leadership to call for the ARREST OF NANCY PELOSI over this, if anything just for the publicity. These

GOP morons are the most incompetent crop of blue blood country club degenerates in US history.
Americans love calling for the arrest and jailing of the opposition!

Zeddicus uses literal well. He also has an awesome plan for the Republicans:

With this action, the Democrats have brazenly trampled over the rule of law and are now merely and literally robbing us at gunpoint and spending our money on anything they damn well want to blow it on. There is no longer even the pretense of accountability or civilian representative approval.

This action is a hostile act from a treasonous domestic enemy.

If the national Republicans have any spine, they need to walk out of Congress, issue a unified proclamation declaring the Democrats and the Administration to be criminal enemies of the Constitution, nullify the illegitimate government in Washington, and hold special elections to reestablish a new, legitimate, Constitutional government.

Yes, it really has come to that, because we've just been plunged into abject tyranny.
backwoods-engineer just goes for the revolution rhetoric:
Yes, I too believe it is very, very close to the time for the bastards.
RinaseaofDs elaborates:

You will start to know when things are getting to the sticking point when middle class people stop using their computer to communicate, and start meeting in person instead. They’ll meet in homes and make their plans. They’ll wait until their reps come home, and they’ll take them out.

Yep, death threats. But after the non-rebellion that was Health Care, I'm not to worried about these keyboard commandos.

  1. I think that Captain Hyperbole has become the Freepers' official mascot.
