Reasons: His political stock (and respect) just went up in the world. You folks may not have heard, but during his African trip, a few of the leaders over there refused to meet with him too, it just wasn’t reported too much in the news.

I used to think that Bill Clinton was the luckiest politician ever chosen by fate, but now I think the honor goes to Vladamir Putin. They quit being the Soviet Union when marxism killed them and ol' Vlad is in charge as they are reborn as Christian Russia. Never saw that coming.
