Republicans in the House are making noises about cutting the top tax bracket to 25%. That's pretty crazy, but Freepers can totally top that:

pnh102 knows the most important thing about tax policy - that the poor have too much money!

And most importantly, the FairTax, as well as other retail sales tax proposals, will finally nail the half of all households which pay 0 in federal taxes!

longtermmemmory thinks New York runs on sales tax:

you also have to cap state sales taxes and limit or prohibit state income taxes. NY state and NYC would convulse with no income tax or success penalties.

The 16th amendment wasn’t supposed to apply to individuals and it’s appropriated, nor op-out-able, despite Reid saying it’s “voluntary.”

We should be able to opt out of ALL Federal taxes (by not purchasing a good). That is truly the American way.
