Republicans cave to the sanity lobby

McConnel has a plan wherein Republicans may allow the US to pay it's debts. Freepers are not happy, though they are oddly resigned.

West Texas Chuck is mainly pissed Obama didn't lose.
Old purple lips wins again.
exit82 is unhappy Freeper types are rarely put in leadership positions.

Well, I just tried calling (Obama’s)Bitch McConnell’s DC office—busy; four offices in KY—all busy.

Guess they are are hearing from pissed off people all over the US, or they took the phones off the hook.

Chester “Trent” Lott, Bill Frist, Mitch O’Connell—every time we have needed a leader in the Senate, we got a limp dish rag for the last 15 years.

MNlurker yet again threatens to go third party:

And with this roll over I kiss the GOP as it currently constructed goodbye...

Go f yourself Mitch.

ScottinVA is pretty resigned.

What angers me more than anything is the fix was probably in from the beginning. Obama knew he was going to win. He always does.

This current crop of GOP “leaders” isn’t anywhere near fit to lead.

VictoryGal knows everything she doesn't like is unconstitutional.

Mitch is a SPINELESS COWARD. Not to mention his little proposal urinates on the Constitution!

conservaterian is one of the few who finds some of that Obamacare type rage:
This is TREASON.
They have to get 2/3 majority to NOT give the power to Obama????

Obama wouldn't even have dared propose this. If Obama would have suggested this the Republicans would be yelling impeachment. HOW the H could a Republican leader even think this, much less suggest it?

Please Sarah, do NOT get into the sham GOP primaries. Go Rogue, go Rogue NOW, don't waste your time with the traitors any more. I felt like this was still the Twilight Zone marathon when I saw this proposal.
novemberslady thinks the other two branches of government doesn't really exist.
Obama takes/spends what he wants, when he wants.
To believe otherwise imo is extremely naive.

  1. It's pretty funny that they had absolutely no problems with raising the debt ceiling any of the 7 times Bush did it. I just can't imagine what could have changed between then and now that they suddenly have a problem with it.

  2. I find their lack of heat interesting. They hate RINOS, and liberals and Obama's policies. But it's like their outrage here is more a formality and they know this had to happen.
