Why is the Flight 93 Memorial so white?

So UnChained asks:

I would expect it in a camera pan of a Rush Limbaugh TV audience and to a lesser extent of a Tea Party gathering but why is this event so WHITE?
Of hundreds of attendees, I see only one black person. What drives this phenomenon?

I guess a marginally interesting question, sociologically.

There is a strange belief among many black Americans that only white people died on the ground or in the planes, so 9/11 isn't about them.

Facts don't back this up and the Glorious 19 came to kill as many of us as they could no matter what we looked like, but this does not register in the minds of those in a permanent state of whining and grievance.

It's the same kind of mindset that allowed Jeremiah Wright to give his "G-D America" 'sermon' the Sunday after 9/11, with his congregation maintaining an "us" versus "them" mindset. The blood of all Americans is red, but they don't understand
