Death Threats

A Democratic congresswoman with a proposal for gun liability insurance has been getting death threats. I assumed that like death threats against Obama, they either would assume they were lies or else not care. But after months of whipping up gun paranoia, turns out they straight up approve, and even provide some threats of their own!

Responsibility2nd knows death threats come naturally with any attempt to regulate guns:
IF (Bif IF) the threats are real, then this 'Rat needs to remember...

Play Stupid Games. Win Stupid Prizes.
technically right seems to think she's been giving him death threats:
What’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.
sheana has the formula for good government:
I will say I hope she is receiving threats and GOOD!!!!
It is about time that these dimwits realize they are not rulers. They need to be afraid of us.
Lurker agrees - permanent revolution y'all!
Members of Congress should live in a permanent state of fear for their lives.
demshateGod seriously contemplates her death:
Wouldn’t it be, uh, ironic if the killer uses a knife.
IllumiNaughtyByNature knows gay people do theath threats all the time:
...but, somehow, no one reports on the "threats" Conservatives get from the Rainbow Mafia on another political topic of late?

Deal with it.
hal ogen just spews bile:
Didn’t this cow take an oath to defend the Constitution & Bill of Rights? Maybe this useless subhuman can’t read?
edboock demands the long form threat:
She needs to back up her claims. In what form is she receiving death threats that cannot be traced? Phone calls...traceable. E-mails...traceable. Letters in the mail...she has the fastest mailman in the world as she only said this yesterday and already she’s receiving threatening mail?. Nonetheless, it’s probably traceable as well. Are people walking up to her and threatening her? I think she’s blowing smoke.
from occupied ga advocates more shootings:
"If your going to shoot, shoot. Don't talk."

Further I doubt the threats are real. Phoney threats are a standard topic of worm infested turds Democrats who want to play the victim card. Mind you, it would not break my heart if someone offed her.
backwoods-engineer knows shooting politicians is a sure way to combat gun control efforts!
Stop threatening, people. That's useless, and just empowers the enemy. It's time we stopped playing by Marquess de Queensbury rules, and engaged in the street fight.
Neoliberalnot also councils shooting politicians over gun insurance.
Getting threats rarely has stopped tyrants. The historical evidence proves empty threats are useless. Time for the next step to stop these poplitical pigs from enslaving citizens.

  1. Say there was a high profile freeper incident, where very publicly a Freeper killed a bunch of people in the name of their ideals, how do you think FR (both from a posts perspective and a mod perspective) would respond? Would they be commended? Because wow, I'm kinda surprised they're allowing comments like these on the site.

    1. Yeah, this is different. Free Republic's ability to keep finding new bad craziness is amazing.

I'd bet they'd go No True Scottsman on him when faced with such an existential threat, but I don't really know anymore.

    2. What do you mean "if"? It happened five years ago. Google Knoxville Unitarian shooting if you need your memory jogged.

  2. Sounds like Freepers are treading a very thin line, if not crossing it altogether. But as Rachel Maddow said last night, your effort to intimidate drowns out your own words.

  3. “What can we do with such people?”

In the good old days, they worked in the fields growing and picking cotton. That line of work doesn’t require much mental capacity.

  5. Judge rules FDA has to provide morning after pill without a prescription. Watch Freepers explain what this pill does incorrectly over and over. If I had no prior knowledge of it and read this, I'd believe this pill aborted babies, contained estrogen, contaminated water supplies and caused mothers to bleed to death. And that's just from the first 20 posts!: http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3004438/posts

And here's one to watch because it just started and... holy shit... they're finally not even hiding it & defending white supremacists now. http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3004443/posts
