It is always really sad to hear Freepers tell stories, because they're all about trivially rebellious situations that happened when the Freeper was like 7 years old, that they remember in vivid detail like it was yesterday, because nothing more interesting has happened to them in the 60 years since.

Then again, they call RWNJ bloggers "Citizen Journalists". I guess the Internet is great, except when it falls into stupid hands..

ReplyDeleteI'm shocked but not particularly surprised. I do believe that lawful citizens have the right to possess be carry arms for self-defense and protection, but there is something uniquely distasteful about self-professed Christians who praise the glory of the gun during a time when we are to praise the glory of the birth of Christ.
DeleteThis is partly why Christians are so often lampooned in the media, and it is unfortunate that people of good will who simply wish to follow their faith and to live their lives as best as they can are lumped together with this group of miscreants.
I believe that basic Freeper philosophy and level of priorities can be summarized thusly:
Galt is good.
God is great.
Guns are the best.
