Rather than share it with the gays, Oklahoma is considering no longer offering marriages to anyone. Freepers enthusiastically take both sides, either saying marriage is a Commie plot, or that ending marriage is a Commie plot.
Ransomed explains how the State uses marriage to break the people:
The homosexualists have to have the state involved in order to punish those who they know will always disagree them. The statists go along with it because they know it will help destabilize the culture, producing more broken people reliant on the state. Thus state approved serial civil divorce and now ‘gay marriage.’mrsmith sees a weird parallel.
It’s a fascinating response to the grasping black-robed dictators.Or more like when Prince Edward County, Virginia closed their public schools rather than desegregate them.
Very similar to the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
Olog-hai is sure this is Commie.
Nobody goes full-bore Commie Manifesto without being a commie. Mike Turner’s been out of the RINO closet for some time, but this is pure CPUSA.GeronL as usual calls anyone who disagrees with him a pervert-supporter.
destroying civil marriage was always the goal of the pervertsViennacon thinks we should end adoption as well. He's also planning post-Civil War 2.
sounds like you are on their side
It strips out the benefits they crave. You can get any kind of marriage benefits you want to families without mentioning marriage directly, linking it to biological child-rearing for example.Fester Chugabrew reminds everyone that sex should never be fun:
We should get behind this effort before the Feds rule through the judges and force us to cave. Remember, this is only temporary. Once we take over the country, or parts secede (one of which is almost inevitable at this point). Once that happens, we can do as we wish.
BTW, no matter how much “love and commitment” may be present before, during, or after the act, there is no virtue in depositing one’s own DNA into an excretory orifice. There is most certainly an ill effect and mendacity against the Creator and nature in defining “marriage” as equal to such a practice. The left cannot handle truths of this nature, as it elevates an imagined “inclusiveness” over the exclusiveness of virtue.
I dunno about Free Republic anymore ...
ReplyDeleteFewer and fewer people are donating, and those who still donate are donating less and less ... indicating that even dopey freepers are getting tired of supporting JimRob.
Butterdezillion and her tin-foil disciples are receiving open scorn for her increasingly unhinged rants and crazy theories.
Really, I'm surprised as much as anyone how cracked the foundations have become over there.
I almost feel a little sorry for her, she's so delusional. After people started piling on and explaining that her images of Fuddy's coffin are distorted because you shouldn't use Microsoft Word to resize images, she started claiming that her computer acting funny was a "hit job" designed to discredit her. I've seldom seen such paranoia and defensiveness in my life.

I think she is the very definition of cognitive dissonance and confirmation bias.
As for her extraordinary claim that Fuddy bought a mansion in Florida under her two middle names with cash, so that she could disappear (i.e., she's not really dead), another poster helpfully tries to explain:
Delete"The reality [sic] company show the property was still for sale as of January 31, 2014."
Reality company, indeed.
"I'm surprised as much as anyone how cracked the foundations have become over there."
DeleteReally? Tell me about the golden age of sanity at Free Republic. I must have missed it.
I bet the poor woman can't even get out of her trailer. I'm sure Alex Jones will take up her case

DeleteNot that many years ago, freepathons were over in a week or less, conspiracy theory threads were routinely and quickly deleted and conspiracy theorists zotted, racist remarks were reported to mods and deleted within hours, even anti-gay rhetoric was kept in check.
Yes it was still nutty, but the nuttiness was under much tighter control. FR was a much less cruel place than it is now. I really do believe there are not that many mods anymore ... JR at least used to nominally pay his mods ... now he just relies on a few cronies and harpies to patrol the site and report back to him for free.
"conspiracy theory threads were routinely and quickly deleted and conspiracy theorists zotted"
DeleteYou are a liar.
Listen up, you two. This is the point of debate, "conspiracy theory threads were routinely and quickly deleted and conspiracy theorists zotted".
DeleteArkancide, Vince Foster, the list goes on and on. Do I have to Google this for you? Conspiracy theory has been the bread and butter of FR always.
This poster is a liar. Well, unless you believe Hillary killed Vince Foster and that Bill and Hillary killed off half of Arkansas. Look it up. Those conspiracy theories and many, many more were the bread and butter of FR for many years.
I just won this debate. Thank you very much. Arkancide. Vince Foster. I win.
How about all those Ron Brown threads? Just Google it up if you don't remember. Pure conspiracy theory. Those threads were not deletled and the posters were not zotted. I win.
DeleteThe birther conspiracy threads are the most gigantic elephant in this room!!! Or don't those count?
DeleteLet's see, Ron Brown... here is a simple one to prove the point, from 6 years ago.
DeleteThis Day in History 1996: Ron Brown Killed in Plane Crash
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1996506/posts
The original poster, Deo volente, still has an account, so he was not zotted. The tread was not deleted. It's right there on Google.
Here are just a few quotes from that thread -
"Ron Brown was about to make a deal to testify against the Clintons."
"A Clinton hit ... pure & simple (not that anything to do with the Clintonistae is either pure or simple)."
"Ron Brown was about to make a deal to testify against the Clintons.
Imagine the raw evil it takes to snuff out the lives of all those passengers just to shut one man up?
I hope I live long enough to see evil take a back seat in this old world..."
You get the drift.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is conspiracy theory. Don't believe these old liars. FR has been a hotbed of the worst kind of calumny for a long, long time.
Just for fun, here is another old Ron Brown thread. LOL.
DeleteWhat really happened to Ron Brown

There is no doubt that Free Republic is a hot bed of conspiracy theory.
Enter the keyword arkancide into the search box at the top of the page at Free Republic. Here, I will do it for you.
Deletehttp://www.freerepublic.com/tag/arkancide/index?more=2535911
How many threads mention arkcancide? I don't know, I can't get to the end of it. Page after page after page after page. This has been a very big deal for a very long time at Free Republic.
Well you certinly have a stick up your cunt about "arkancide", thats for sure. Hey, where were YOU when Vince Foster "supposedly" killed himself?
DeleteHmmm, HMMMMMM ?
Free Republic has been doing this conspiracy theory thing forever and you guys lied about it. What morons you must be. Don't you know that this is (mostly) all on record and that anyone who can Google can prove you are liars?
DeleteWhy did you lie?
Incidentally, my word verification for the above post was "achy cul lessons," which is kinda droll given the meaning of cul in French.
