I liked the post later in the thread where RummyChick used the fact that she watched the TV show MI-5 as one of her credentials for evaluating government conspiracies.
ReplyDeleteI read that thread and was awestricken at the level of the crazy. These people are obsessed with scanning visual images for signs and portents. The government should give them satellite footage of Afghani wastelands to scan for encampments. Or maybe not. The place would then be bombed to smithereens (I mean more than it already has been).

This sort of paranoiac bullshit -- and all the pissing and moaning about "tyranny" -- actually makes them happy, as hard as that may be for normal people to comprehend.
...adding, that the problem isn't just being crazy. It's also competing for attention. They know that some people get attention and respect by finding problems with pixels or whatever, and so they try the same tactic in hopes of making themselves more important in the community.
