Diana's post about Social Security is part of a trend I've noticed lately. More and more, posters are whining about old folks on SS and Medicare being moochers. I assume most of the complainers are younger people who don't believe they'll ever receive anything from the programs. Old folks then start bleating: "It's MY money and the government had better keep their dirty hands off of it!" Somebody will generally start complaining about the pensions of Evil Government Employees and the lavish benefits paid out to what freepers call gibmedats.

Well in all honesty the current seniors getting SS & medicare are moochers and they tend to be the biggest loud mouth whiners.. I say they are moochers because they paid very little into the system.

Whenever I hear a retire cry "I paid my whole life... "
