We've been here before, but it never hurts to remind ourselves that the voter suppression effect of voter ID laws isn't a bug, it's a feature.
Tailgunner Joe explains the reasoning:
Women elected Barack Hussein Obama.See, if people vote wrong, they shouldn't vote at all! Now it's just Freepers trying to figure out a good nonracist heuristic to define Democratic voters:
GraceG wants to get rid of all government employees:
They screwed up when they gave anyone but landowners the vote. I would have no problem with a woman or anyone else that owned property having the vote. I would just be happy removing the government leeches from the roles under “confict of interest” rules.
GeorgeWashingtonsGhost makes an exception in his woman bashing:
When political candidates are male and they usually are, females have a tendency to vote with their genitals not their minds. Obama 2008, case and point. There, I said it and I am absolutely NOT talking about the women here at FR. You are intelligent but unfortunately not the typical, 20-something bimbos running amok in America.central_va wants veterans to get extra rights:
Taxpayers, veterans and landowners should get a weighted ballot. Perhaps veterans given a ballot worth 2X for one example. Everyone should vote but some voters are more important than others. IMO anyway.EyeGuy has a new twist on an old saying:
They screwed up when they gave anyone but landowners the vote. I would have no problem with a woman or anyone else that owned property having the vote. #### This. No Representation without Taxation.Freepers on Social Security may have an issue with this.
TheThirdRuffian also neglects everyone over 65.
1. No person on any kind of aid from the govenment (including medicare) can vote. All persons should be able to reject any aid. 2. No employee of the government, excepting soldiers, should be allowed to vote for elections regarding that tier of government. (i.e., federal employees can’t vote in federal elections, and state employees can’t vote in state elections).Yet another Freeper topic I hope breaks into the mainstream.
