I love how Freepers' sense of popular culture seems to end somewhere in the mid-90s. "I'll use a lifeline," for example.

I can't believe there was a time in my life, about 20 years ago, when I actually believed that conservatives had a moral concern for unborn children...one that I could respect, even if I believed it was based on a false premise.
I was dead wrong. It's entirely about hating women, sex and the poor. I'm glad they're finally starting to admit it.

DeleteNot exactly sure how the "taxpayer" issue factors into insurance provided through employers. Is there a single freeper anywhere who actually understands the most basic facts about the issues they're always raving about?
Also, I can't wait for the first freeper to argue that religious employers should be allowed to deny salaries to workers who are using the money for contraception, abortion, gambling or -- worst of all -- left-wing political causes. After all, they shouldn't be forced to fund activities they don't approve of!
