All Arabs are now in the Taliban. |
Obama looks happy: |
Man, Freeper's version of Hillary and Obama would make a pretty sweet TV show. |
More humping Libya: |
Is Obama saying this, is Rush? What about the blue text? THIS IS THE WORST COMIC BOOK EVER! |
Yes, the BLACK PANTHERS return! |
Yeah, Obama seems so scared now! |
I like the mix of statistics, policies and insults here. |
Wasn't Zeppo the serious, competent one?
ReplyDeleteConcerning Obama on a platter... maybe I was hallucinating but didn't Pres. Obama admit during the second debate (in front of 60 million people mind you) that he was at fault for the lax security in Libya?
ReplyDeleteHe basically said that, as commander-in-chief, 'the buck stops here'.
DeleteSee, that last one has the quirky out of date charm that Freepers do so well.
ReplyDeleteA record! Get it? A BROKEN record! The brittle kind that's made out of shellac, and stopped being produced in the late 1950s!
I often wonder if Freepers really are all in their 70s, or if instead they all have a magical Christmas land version of the 50's that they weren't alive to see.
What changes should Romney direct after he wins the election.

In this thread the Freepers make a wish list that you probably don't even have to read. You can imagine it.
The best entry is this one,
"May I suggest that whenever this thread runs its course, a freeper close to the Romney camp share this info. I am sure there are seveal ideas that would be part of the first 100 days in office. Maybe even first day in office!"
by Maudeen
Oh sure, Romney is going to want to hear from Free Republic. You guys were with him every step of the way.
It is almost charmingly naive for a poster to a nut job web site, a site that accuses President Obama of being possessed by the Devil, to think that they are going to influence national policy.
Here's a good thread, though it's about 3 weeks old. Man killed his family and himself, neighbor said he had issues with paranoia and mental illness and was fearful of an Obama 2nd term, per a neighbor.
ReplyDeleteGranted, it is a sensationalized headline, but the Freepers who talk about Obama causing Civil War II, killing old people with death panels, etc. 24/7/365 now are crying foul about Obama being the cause...and then turn around and say that the media and the biased pollsters are the cause.

S. Africa's children still face apartheid-like inequality

Freepers give a few links to support their point of view. Where are the getting their info? World Net Daily and Pamela Geller. There is also a link to some radio web site but there isn't anything specific there.
So, World Nut Daily and Pamela Geller, eh? Way to go, Freepers, way to go.
The thread about the Milwaukee area shooting today is a case study in why Freepers are some of the dumbest, saddest people in the world.

Some of the highlights:
-Insisting the salon name means "call to prayer" in Arabic, and that its location on MOORland Road cements this Arab connection (yes, really).
-A claim that CNN referred to the salon as a "gay spa", followed by bathhouse panic, followed by the explanation NOT that "day spa" was actually said, but that it was a day spa and CNN, the filthy perverts, made a freudian slip and said gay, followed by the suggestion the spa sue for defamation.
- Of course, racism abounding, including numerous "Obama's son" cracks, and the phrase "negroid features" being said... oh, and deep suspicion of the apparently Jamaican accent of the shooter's father.
- And the cherry on top of this shit sundae... the revelation that the shooter and his intended victim ex-wife, both apparently dead leaving behind two small girls, both signed the recall Walker petition, making this the left's fault, with one Freeper classily reminding the state that if these two folks cast early vote ballots, they need to be pulled under state law.
None of these are isolated weirdo type Uncle Slayton comments, but real sustained themes that have legs over the course of the thread.
Jesus Christ.
^which only reminds me of the posters who demanded to know why these people were at any sort of spa- day, gay, or otherwise- on a Sunday morning when they should be in church (this was refuted by others, but only to the extent that some of the faithful do not consider Sunday to be the sabbath day).
Anon, the Freepers have become so drone like in their hatred that I almost don't even need to read the thread to figure out what the posts read like. Your summation is more than sufficient.
DeleteBut I'm going to guess that within the first two or three posts there was a "subtle" mention of "One of Holder's People?" or that "Dearborn isn't far from Milwaukee, is it?" and of course a couple of hollow, hey-look-at-me "Prayers Up!" posts.
A list is published of the most and least affordable U.S. cities for the middle class, and big northeast cities including New York show up on the most affordable list. One poster points out that in cities with a good public transportation system a car and associated expenses are not needed. And FR is off to the races. Some highlights:
ReplyDeleteThe only bit of utility and truth here is the info concerning that which the overlords think is the best for the peons and peasants......
Of course without a car you never CAN drive anywhere either. You become a slave of the government, trapped on the plantation. [...] When you ride public transit you get stuck sitting next to all sorts of people you'd never choose to associate with.
And I’d be okay with that if I could carry a gun to protect myself from the scary people you must expose yourself to if you ride the public transportation.
Most large cities are festering, feral places. Good luck “living” there.
