This could put the homo sapiens on the same level as monkeys are to human beings today. This utterly destroys the idea that evolution is in any way, consistent with the Bible. In fact, it is completely contrary to Holy Scripture. Do away with the Bible and you do away with God.

Do you understand how oxymoronic that statement happens to be? How can a designer allow something to happen by random chance? It is a self-defeating argument.
God is the grand designer, he created all life. The miracle of the cell and DNA has his fingerprints all over it.

ReplyDeleteWould they be for prayer in school if those prayers were directed toward Allah or Satan or a Sarah Lee Cheesecake? No, of course not. If they were in the minority, they'd be demanding the separation of Church and State.
This is such a simple, easy to understand point that I've often been surprised that Freepers don't come to this conclusion themselves.

ReplyDeleteBack again under a new screenname, I see. Liberals will always be against anyone who tries to make their religious views into law. As soon as Muslims try to force Sharia law in America, you can bet that liberals will be up in arms about it. That's the only difference.
@eph: it must really turn the muslims on the way you do your "mouth says no but your eyes say yes" routine. ohio has already capitulated to sharia law in banning prok from its prison food menus, there are multiple other examples, it's the slow errosion that you libs seem incapable of seeing until it's too late.

ReplyDeleteWould it have bothered you as much if the inmate had been a Jewish person who sued over no kosher selections on the menu? Would you have complained about Jews trying to institute Talmudic law? Banning pork, while an overreaction, is not "capitulating to sharia law." And Ohio is hardly a liberal bastion. Remember, they went for Bush both times.
when you are in prison your choices are limited no matter what "religion" you are, and the lawsuit further demnads that all meat be prepared according to islmaic law. like i said the slow errosion of u.s. law no matter what the source is a problem and you libs continually turn a blind eye to it.

ReplyDeleteNothing you wrote proves anything about your assertion of an erosion of US law by Islamic law. Just because some courts take other cultures into consideration when making rulings (whether the rulings are right or wrong) doesn't mean that it's equal to "creeping Shariah." Believe me, liberals will fight against any attempt to make Shariah or any other religious belief the law of the land.
