Sayanora Sarah

Hehe. Sarah Palin not running. Freepers react:

CaptSkip
has gone mad, but is right:
The democrats are very disappointed.
Well, I for one...

poor HectorOne

4 more years.... the country’s dead. I’m not even 40 and the USA is dead.

Gargantua has likewise lost hope::
America will be a 3rd World banana republic by 2016. Cain will likely win, and be as bad as Obama due to not being up to the job. He shoots from the hip instead of admitting that he doesn't know the answer, just like he did on "Right Of Return" in the Chris Wallace interview.

His opinion of himself vastly exceeds the reality.

We're done. Stick a fork in it. I can't believe Palin would do this to America.
gimme1ibertee and many others trow in for Cain:
Time to pick up the pieces and move on. Words can't describe how bad I feel,but...we have to go forward and do the best we can with getting the most conservative person elected...i'd like to see her as a running mate, but I don't believe that will happen.

That being said, I will NEVER-EVER-EEEEVER...cast a vote for Romney. My next choice would be Cain after Sarah.
adm5 is not so sanguine:
We had a real chance to elect someone with a rock-solid, true to the core, Conservative heart. We needed someone like that to reverse the damage from this unprecedented socialist/communist Cloward-Piven Obama Administration. Now we get Mittens. Super-mega-tard-RINO, Mittens. A guy that so passionate about his beliefs until he needs to flipflop on them tomorrow speaking to a different group of whothefU*(ever.

HEY, BUT HE HAS GREAT HAIR, AND I BET THE NY F&*^&^ING TIMES WILL ENDORSE HIM, JUST LIKE THEY DID JUAN MCSTAIN IN 2008. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Great, just f*&%^$ING great.
Right-wing Librarian knows what it would take for Sarah not tor tun:
The only thing I can think of is the powerful banksters of the world threatened the lives of her and her children if she did run.

I’ve ripped off the Palin 2012 bumper stickers and removed my Palin 2012 email signature. So saddened now, as I realize that without a Palin presidency, this country is going down sooner rather than later.

so_real thinks this is Yet ANOTHER masterstroke:
Relax my FRiends ... I don't think we've seen the last of Palin. I sincerely believe she just initiated a Queen's Sacrifice. I think we'll look back at today as the day she singlehandedly disarmed the opponent.

If she announces her support for Cain, Bachmann, Santorum, or Gingrich in the days to come, I will be certain of it. I have my fingers crossed yet for a ticket with Palin's name it. I hope all of you that feel disaffected today will take heart and say your prayers for the same.
This very well could be the start of the winning stroke and we need only to recognize it.

If my suspicions are correct, this is masterful.
Ladysmith knows Sarah is more powerful than any President:

Sarah Palin still has my ear.

Is it any different than someone like Rush not running for president? If their gifts from God are better used outside of the Beltway, wouldn’t we want that, too?

Sarah Barracuda keeps hope alive.
I respect her decision. Its her life, her choice..if anyone had to live in her shoes for 5 minutes they would understand what life is like to be Sarah Palin. She will be President one day, just not in 2012..she can run in 2016..
Yes, with any luck Sarah Palin is the gift to me that will will keep on giving.

  1. I see you picked my favorite, the one in which St. Sarah didn't run because her family must have been threatened. I laughed until I cried.

This was not only a bloodbath, it was dumbfuckery taken to new heights. The general ignorance, the widespread illiteracy, the bare knuckle brawls; this was Free Republic at it's finest.

Honestly, this is the best entertainment on the internet. Thank YOU Free Republic.

  2. Ah, sweet Schadenfreude...it's never a good sign for a party when the base and the establishment can't agree on a candidate. Or when the base feels they have to "settle" for someone other than who they really want.

  3. Oh, I have been waiting for this moment for quite some time. Freepers are such a wondrous source of the purest cognitive dissonance around. It is like a fine aged brandy, made of the purest insanity and filtered through the dead ashes of reason and dreams.

The best thing about this thread is the 'pan-dimensional chess' meme, that Our Sarah is playing some sort of star-trek multi D chess, 'cause she is that crafty!, while everyone else is playing checkers, stupid lamestream 'gits they are indeed.

So for some this means that *not* running is somehow the secret to ULTIMATE POWER.

It would be crazy after all, to try to be President, that guy has no real power. Several posters think she is the new RUSH! Or, dare I say it? The new Glen Beck?

Because when you limit your worldview to crazy, the world is run from Wasilla, really it is.

    Best,
    JB

  4. I like the one that implies that Rush Limbaugh has a god-given gift for shouting at things on the radio.

  5. In the brouhaha an interesting idea popped up. Some Freepers seem to think that Cain might be angling to be Romney's Vice Presidential candidate.

That's a damn fine idea. The Republicans know they are viewed as racists and they know they have to court the vote of the independents. Of course, it's awfully early to make predictions but this is such a good idea that I'll be surprised if the Republicans miss the opportunity.
