Not implementing part of Obamacare is also tyranny

HHS is not implementing the CLASS program, which is some kind of long-=term care portion of Obamacare. As this came out post-Rush Limbaugh, Freepers' analysis is all over the map, but quite a few are shocked that an administrative agency has discretion in the implementation of laws. Now that they know, of course, it's unconstitutional.

ProudFossil hasn't heard of the administrative state:

The Republicans should also shout from the rooftops that those in power are going to ignore the law of the land. They just decide what they will enforce and what they will not enforce. It is tantamount to telling Congress go to Hell, we decide what the law is.

And I want the whole damn thing committed to the trash heap. It needs to be repealed.
RitaOK thinks this will get Obama votes:

” Where does Kathleen Sebelius get the authority to suspend implementation of a law?” <<<<

When humble master’s favorables fall to 38%. This is a last resort tactic to inject some modicum of redemption with someone out there, anyone out there, who votes. Independents. People despise government grounded in and based on fiat.

Niuhuru thinks HHS is secretly under the control of the Republicans:

Chill; the Republicans are actually being a lot smarter about this; they are taking it apart piece by piece over a period of time, so that way there is no major backlash agaisnt the Tea Party and conservatives.
First funding for abortion under Obamacare has been abolished, now they are dismantling another facet of Obamacare.
One bit at a time, in a while all of it will be ended and in time Obama will be thrown out.
He has only a little more time left and then he will be gone.
Right now the pubbies are doing what they are paid to do (at last) because they know that they will ahve to asnwer for their actions come election time. Better this way than an overt confrontation that will just create a media frenzy and then possible trouble from the lefties in the streets.

Steely Tom blames the media:
We no longer have a constitutional republic. We have -- in effect -- mob rule, mediated by the mass media. The media appoints a figurehead "ruler," and when he/she proves a dud, they appoint another one.
Art in Idaho is concerned:
Two things needed for absolute tyranny:

1. Socialized Medicine

2. Gun Control

How are we doing?
You forgot gaying up the military!
