Mitt is out.

Oh, alas.

Living in DC for so long, I've cultivated a saving cynicism that keeps me from seeing elections as the world-shaking phenomena Freepers do. So I was sad that Mitt dropped out. So much possible entertainment, lost.

Freepers, who since Obama are increasingly defining themselves by anti-American pessimism, are mostly still unhappy.

stephenjohnbanker kinda gloats
LOL......AMERICA said no first
But stephenjohnbanker quickly turns sour:
And we have Republican amnesty sluts, ad nauseum, ad infinitum.
Then, stephenjohnbanker spends time using the excluded middle fallacy to avoid some uncomfortable bits in the Bible:
Show me ONE piece in the bible where God says we should destroy ourselves for the poor. I DO remember something about the poor will always be with us. He never said anything about national suicide.
samtheman's hate is not sated:
He can't even say it straight, as in "I'm not running".

What a slimeball.
samtheman also really likes calling people "Boy."
I don’t think the shots are called by either Romney or Jeb. There’s a cabal of RINO bosses who tell all the underlings what to do.

Boy Jeb is an underling. So is Boy Mitt.
alstewartfan is already turning his anger away from Romney:
Romney is 30 IQ points higher than Jeb. Jeb would be a disaster as nominee. Bob
chris37 is also already lamenting the next guy in line:
I’m in the “just-about-anyone-but-Jeb” camp, and this is bad news. Donors, operatives, mushy middle gullible primary voters thinking we need to “moderate” the party - they’re being given orders to line-up behind Jeb.

This is brute force. He’s going to be forced on us. I won’t take it.

Neither will I.

I will vote for his opponent.

Lesser of two evils.
depressed in 06 blames the media for...making Romney run in 2016...wait...
The slime stream media seemed to be cheering on a race of those who should have been President, instead of Obummer. Oh well.
miss marmelstein knows the Presidency is too evil for any True Conservatives anyway:
You have to be very tough to survive the race - which is basically why no decent people are running. You have to be shameless to be prez - look at Hillary.
Whoa, noted lunatic Diogenesis has something nice to say?!
Mitt’s wife should have run instead of him.
She is tough.
princess leah honestly LOVES CAPS:
I honestly think the AMERICAN PEOPLE are SICK OF THE CLINTONs AND the BUSHES, so GOP had BETTER LISTEN TO THE REALITY and pick SCOTT WALKER to get us into the WHITE HOUSE.

Now, I am all for a WALKER/CRUZ ticket to help TED prepare down the road, but also think we might go a little further out of the box and pick Susanna Martinez (GOV of NM) on a VEEP ticket with Walker....

Just my thoughts!
Yeah, there's some kinda organized Walker thing. More on that tomorrow, I think.

  1. Will Walker have a college degree before the election?

    2. That thread seemed to devolve at times into "All they need to know is the Bible, in accordance with our sacred founding fathers." I would like to call their bluff and give each of their candidates a surprise scripture quiz during the debates. A pop quiz.

  2. Wasn't Walker for amnesty before he was against it?

    1. Knowing Walker from his days in Milwaukee...I actually have no idea and would be curious. Before his election as governor, he was known for slashing budgets and being taxpayer friendly.

Now, he's seemingly trying to flirt with the FReeper crowd...
