Commerce Secretary John Bryson, accused of hit-and-run, takes medical leave

Freepers seem surprisingly solicitous about the hit-and-run incident of Obama's Commerce Secretary earlier this week.  But never fear, as the thread matured, it also curdled into the knee-jerk hatred we know and love:

Defiant thinks he deserves the benefit of the doubt?!
If they tested him and he wasn’t drunk, I would give him the benefit of the doubt. He doesn’t have any history of bad driving, as far as I can tell, and he had no reason to flee the scene of a fender bender.
mom4melody  had a stroke, so he believes the story, though he quickly points out that he still irrationally hates Democrats:

Last July, I had a stroke. I collapsed and just briefly, lost conciousness.
This event was totally out of the blue, with zero accompanying symptoms. Thank God I was home and not driving.
After testing, a myxoma tumor was discovered in my heart. It was removed at Cleveland Clinic and I am fine.
Things can happen unexpectedly at the worst times.
That said, I rarely trust a word out of a Rats mouth….
libstripper is also not pushing things, though he also feels he must underscore his anti-Obama bona fides:
That’s how I thing and this is ominously like what happened to Bob Novak. Hence, the benefit of the doubt. If anyone here thinks I’m a stealth Obamunist, just read all my other posts about the Illegal.
shhrubbery! thinks the story was arrived at too quickly, so it must all be lies:
But the "seizure" excuse was used so quickly in the Bryson incident that I'm skeptical.
When Novak had his accident, I think it took several days, at least, for news to emerge that doctors had found a brain tumor.
So I tend toward the opinion that Bryson and Obama's handlers are just making up the "seizure" out of thin air.
The Obamaites know the importance of implanting a fake story with the MSM. The know that most of the public will continue to believe the initial lie, even when that story is later disproved.
hal ogen just sticks to the safety of railing against trivialities:
I’m concerned because this pompous ass LIB was driving an AUDI!!!!!!!! Shouldn’t the fool be driving an American union-made Volt (Dolt)???? How disgusting. How damaging to0 the environment!
Verginius Rufus also avoids the frontal assault:
If he’s a billionaire, why is he driving himself? He could give a driver a job. Of course, since he’s a Democrat, it would probably go to an illegal alien.
biggredd1, though, dives straight into conspiracy:
anybody that had “seizure” concerns would have stayed in california a few days to get checked out. Instead, the scumbag flew coast to coast to get to DC to destroy the “evidence”, then he announced a “medical leave”.
"evidence?"

gura thinks it's probably booze:
Withdrawal from alcohol or benzodiazepines can cause seizures, so he could be a alcoholic who recently decided to get clean on his own.
cgbg brings up Vince Foster:
The seizure is the best explanation the “spin squad” could come up with—the LA Police are about to find out what the Park Police went through with the Foster “suicide” during the Clinton years.
This episode is best seen for its symbolism—an administration crashing the economy over and over and over again.
House Atreides thinks Obama's been assassinating again.
Maybe an adverse reaction stemming from a failed poisoning attempt? Was he scheduled to testify or to undergo investigation for anything related to the Obamamites? Stranger things have happened.
It will be interesting to read about the results of the toxicology tests—if those results are not File 13’d.
