Super birthers

Per a Commenter, in whose debt I am in, 'cause this is STRONG in the crazy:

Some birther thread about the appeal of the Georgia birther fail. The same old crazy, with a bit of Islamic conspiracy cause Judge Malihi has a Persain name. But then...

bushpilot1 has this gem:
You are not a natural born citizen. Natural born citizens are the descendants of the original citizens. A natural born citizen is a Kind of citizen. Those who immigrated from Southern Europe do not fit into this Kind.
...does that mean what I think it means?

he follows up:

I’ve 100’s examples the meaning of natural, kind and native.

If the 14th and WKA changed this I’ve no idea.

One thing is certain..the Founders placed one class of citizen into a Kind.

The Chinese, Ethiopians, Malays, Slavs, Arabs did not write the Constitution did they. The Founders had every right to do what they did when they used the term natural born citizen.

If you don’t like it..complain to the Founders or call your Congressman to change the Constitution.

Indeed, in a deleted post, he straight up says only Anglo-Saxons can be President. Screw both parents being citizens, Indonesian law, or forged long form, THIS is the best birther theory yet!

Things heat up, as evinced by Conscience of a Conservative
bushpilot1 is arguing that only white people can be President, and I'm the one who should be zotted? Ha!
bushpilot1 is zotted, but his awesome, awesome defenders remain:

Fantasywriter is sure it wasn't racism behind bushpilot1's newfound White Presidency Clause, it was fidelity to the founders!
I wish someone would have asked BP1 if *he* wanted the presidency restricted to certain whites, or if he was simply convinced that’s the way the Framers wanted it, and it hadn’t be constitutionally modified/corrected yet. There is a difference. I know BP was a stickler for originality/original intent.
edge919 affirms this - the Founders were racist, so the Constitution is racist, so we gotta be racist!
From what I see, bushpilot has been researching the language etymology of natural-born citizen as strictly related to the understanding and intent of the founders. The reaction from Obama sympathizers has been to treat that as if BP has a personal racist agenda, which we all know is a typical tactic used against anyone who questions Obama's legitimacy. BP defended what the historical intent and language is, as well as the fact that the Constitution has not been changed, which is true.
...
BP seemed to say the intent of the founders would not just prevent Obama from being a natural-born citizen, but also those non-Anglo Saxon Europeans. That would exclude plenty of white people.
philman_36 turns to Ben Franklin, going off on darkies:
IMO, Franklin did a fine job of expressing himself in his own words? And BP isn't here to clear up his intent so one can only presume.
All Africa is black or tawny. Asia chiefly tawny. America (exclusive of the new Comers) wholly so.
And in Europe, the Spaniards, Italians, French, Russians and Swedes, are generally of what we call a swarthy Complexion; as are the Germans also, the Saxons only excepted, who with the English, make the principal Body of White People on the Face of the Earth.

Tawny and swarthy...Seems pretty clear cut to me as to what "races" Franklin meant.
mojitojoe laments the fallen martyr:
The trolls may have won a battle for a day, they have not and will not win the war unless FR is turning into DU lite.

  1. It's not even "only white people can be President," it's "only people descended from original citizens!" So if you want to be president you had better be descended from Washington himself, which ironically is the exact type of hereditary government those same original citizens fought a war to get rid of.

  2. I think Ben Franklin has a good point. Why are we letting Swedes run for president?

  3. Did Ben Franklin really say that? He links to a source but it's a collection of hundreds of pages and he doesn't tell us where to find it.

  4. Never mind, I googled some of the text. He did say that.

  5. Under that kind of racial restriction, only Romney would qualify for the election

  6. Mitt Romney's Mexican father, hmmmmm.......Are the simple minded "BIRTHERS", going to ask Romney for his birth certificate? We all know this was never about a birth certificate, if it was then these same people would be asking Romney for his. It's about small minded people who hate African Americans and do not have the brains to review a President's policy so they make something up. So sad, so sad.

  7. Lets be clear none of these dullards have won a case in the “U.S. Courts”, maybe in their simple minds (if they have any) but not in our “U.S. Courts”, so unless Birthers/ Teabaggers, whatever you want to be called, win a court case, we will continue to see as dullards, liars or racist or maybe all three. Deal with that baby!
