Freepers, who previously were all in for Newt, are all smiles about spoiler Santorum. We'll see if it lasts.
moonhawk is gracious:
Newt will be there in MO for the vote that counts.lahargis revels in how the now Evil Establishment Entity Fox News has lost again! But this thread is for Rick, and hats off to him.
Anybody but Romney.
He is not a good choice to go against Obama but it is going to be great watching Fox news this morning (which I haven’t watched in some time) trying to say how these caucuses/primaries probably don’t mean that much! lol Squirm Fox Squirm!!Kaslin is a bit smug:
Do the Santorum Nay Sayers still want him to drop out?j.argese is one of the few to attack Santorum:
As for Santorum he’s a chickensh*t who attacked both Gingrich and Mitt “Oh So Ronery” when they were unable to answer his charges.Prole attacks Gingrich:
Gingrich-Santorum?Defiant is not optimistic:I hardly think so.
Gingrich hasn't won ANYTHING in comparison to Santorum, and crazy Ron Paul is consistently placing ahead of Gingrich.
BTW, Gingrich will only continue to come in 4th place behind the Santorum, Romney and Paul race.
He is basically a menace at this point in the race.
Time for the elites to tear down another one.
I'm surprised to see so much criticism of Gingrich by FR commenters -- didn't Jim Robinson officialy endorse him? Given Robinson's proclivity for zotting dissenters, I'm surprised anti-Gingrich commenters aren't "disappeared".
ReplyDeleteAs long as they're not cheering for Romney, I don't think JimRob cares. If Santorum turns out to be the nominee he'll probably support him. At this point it's anyone but Romney (or Paul).
DeleteThe fact that the hating of Romney hasn't transformed into rallying around a champion to the denigration of all others surprised me.
DeleteThough in retrospect, in 2008, they never really went after Thompson Hunter or Tancredo.
Throw out enough Red Meat, and the Freepers won't turn on you. For now.
Being essentially negative and hateful people, Freepers have a much easier time rallying around someone or something that they despise, than they do rallying around something or someone they support. So it makes sense that they have no problem slotting in a "Great Right Hope" every other week. Palin, Bachman, Santorum, Gingrich, Cain. They have all come and gone, but the important thing is that they have had Romney to hate the whole way through.
DeleteThis is the most amusing Republican Primary in history.
