Trump's visit to the Senate is that third kind of thread. Freepers hate the Senate, they love Trump, they'll explain away Trump's blustering through not knowing Article I of the Constitution, blah blah.
But I didn't count on Freepers reacting to Trump getting actually challenged. In the campaign scrum it's easy to forget that Trump hasn't had to deal with nay-sayers since the debates, and those guys were awful! So when GOP Senators Flake and Sasse called Trump on his bullshit, some Freepers flipped the fuck out.
HarleyLady27 shows up to talk a lot about balls:
I think not only should Trump call out these ‘sissy ball less little boys’ but so should we!!!From sub-human to treasonous, meadsjn spares no Freeper-cliche adjective!
If we want our Country back, we are going to have to get a steel spine and some brass balls to do it, so quit grabbing the ‘pearls’ around your necks and start getting ready!!!
The whole US Senate is a corrupt cesspool of sub-human, treasonous scumbags.V K Lee thinks the GOP Senators are all in for Hillary, and also drowning or something?
If the whole assembly were to get vaporized, the gains would offset the losses at least 98 to 1.
They ALL 'walk funny', hampered by their posture and stance. Not one carries his/her/its head above the 'water line' For them it is Hillary or die. And they might see both to fulfillment.Diana in Wisconsin knows if you're not running for President, you ain't nothin!
If these ‘Senators’ are so AWESOME, why aren’t THEY sucking it up and running for the Presidency? They seem to have ALL of the answers, do they not? I mean, they’ve done SUCH a GREAT JOB of blocking all of the, ‘transformative’ things 0bama has implemented...
huckfillary just blames media bias and moves on to easier thoughts:
Flake’s a Flake. That said, consider the source of the article, the Washington Post. If the Post says the meeting was “tense” in all likelihood it was completely amicable.JudyinCanada wants Trump to start calling the media Democrats:
It would be better for Mr. Trump to refer to the media as being the obvious spokespeople for the democrats rather than just calling them unfair.bigbob might vote Dem, really, guys, really!
They are more than unfair - they are totally in the tank for the left, which is far beyond biased. Unfair sounds too light, something a very young person would say.
The media is corrupt, just like their overlords, the dems.
I’m pretty tempted to vote for Tammy Duckworth instead of Mark Kirk. She’s a democrat but having an R behind his name means nothing as Kirk will vote the wrong way anyhow. If that means Harry Reid is back in control of the Senate, I’m not sure it makes any difference vs McConnell. Kirk will not help implement trumps agenda. Tired of voting for RINOs.PhilCollins seems to be a Freeper doing Freep work in the real world. i.e. irrelevant.
I’m the campaign manager of Chad Koppie, Kirk’s Constitution Party opponent. If you know people who want to help Chad, by volunteering and/or donating, please ask them to read his site, www.chadkoppie.com. Chad says that the liberal vote will split among Sen. Kirk, Congresswoman Duckworth, and Scott Summers (of the Green Party), helping Chad win with 20%.sailor76 knows all Mormons are part of the Rommey hivemind:
Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.)mbrfl wants to fight Flake:
Another Mormon butt-rodent and messenger of mittens.
Flake is just begging to be b*tch slapped.onyx goes on in detail about slapping Senator Flake:
Flake is also butt-rude arrogant. The very type I’d love to crack right across his snarky, smiling face. If ever a GOP Senator merited a slapping, it’s Flake.
