Stephen Colbert: Serious Politician

So Stephen Colbert is mocking the ineffective regulations on campaign spending by indulging in campaign spending. His PAC has, nominally without his input, created a political ad against Romney - saying that if corporations are like people, he's a serial killer.

Freepers just treat it like any other ad, spinning it to their own agenda:

Utmost Certainty awaits the deluge of "Romney is a Serial Killer" ads:

A preview of what the next 10 months will be like.

Vaduz knows Colbert is acting at the behest of his Hollywood masters:

Sounds like Hollywood is in panic mode and call on Colbert to sling the BS, Obama must have a smile so big his ear lobes are wet.

no dems sees Romney's serial killer issue as an Achilles heel, unlike those other unassailable candidates
Another reason why we do NOT need Mitt Romney as the GOP nominee.

Nothing they dig up on Newt is this damaging politically.

Rick Santorum is squeaky clean except for a few Senatorial votes that call into question his Conservative judgment on a few occasions in 20 years of public service. They will not dig up any immorality on him.

  1. nodems writes, "Nothing they dig up on Newt is this damaging politically."

How can that possibly be true? How could anyone think that?

    A quick quote from Wikipedia,

"Eighty-four ethics charges were filed against Gingrich during his term as speaker. After extensive investigation and negotiation by the House Ethics Committee, Gingrich was sanctioned $300,000 by a 395–28 House vote. It was the first time in history a speaker was disciplined for ethical wrongdoing."

Go ahead and run Gingrich, Republicans. I dare you.

  2. This thread about the candidate's wives is shaping up to be a good one.

Freepers have problems with women in general. Neither Mrs. Gingrich nor Mrs. Romney have pasts that pass muster. What's a Freeper to do?

  3. Wait, I screwed up. It's Santorum's wife who shacked up the the abortion provider, not Romney. Sorry, it's hard to keep up with which act is center stage in this circus.
