Polls say Obama's still popular

Some Freepers, despite multiple collisions with reality, continue to ignore the polls. Others despair and hate America.

fwdude only pays attention to Rasmussen polls, though they totally lean Obama:
What are they smoking? Ras has his approval down to 46% vs 53% disapprove. And coming from Ras, that’s saying a LOT.

Among sentient voters, it’s in the mid-30’s.
Puppage needs no polls, only observation:
Yeah, because everyone I KNOW loves high gas prices, record unemployment and non stop scandals.

Who believes this BS, seriously?
Buckeye McFrog knows what's really going on:
Barry has been out of the country. Polling reveals most people are amazingly cool with him when he’s out of the country.
A.A. Cunningham knows Pew is all lies, depsite other concurring polls:
PEW has absolutely no history of cooking the numbers. /s
boycott also thinks these polls are skewed:
Pew is rather consistent with their propaganda. Like Brookings employees donations, they support demo positions 99% of the time.
Chuzzlewit sees the polls as proof America is dead. Again.
1/2 of all Americans, are weak, spoiled, lazy and ignorant. Your post is spot on...

Most don’t care because this country, in 75 years, has devolved into Rome. History repeats itself. Of course most Americans would say: “Rome, what do you mean? Is that in Florida? I don’t get it”.
While other Freepers crow that the press is finally beginning to wake up, DJ Frisat sees no progress:
Amazing, when you consider that he’s being hammered daily by major newspapers and broadcast media, just like the beat on GWB for 8 years...

What? There’s nary a whisper of scandal in the news, you say? Just unmentioned, manufactured ‘controversies’ and ‘kerfuffles’, you say?

Well, what are a few inconvenient stories, when stacked up against his awesome achievements and brilliant economic, domestic and foreign policy strategeries...?
Soul of the South blames the media as well:
If the mainstream media had run daily stories pounding Obama about the scandals, like they did Bush on Iraq and Katrina, his approval rating would be in the 30’s. However the media is in unison telling people things aren’t that bad and are improving.
BitWielder1 wishes they'd only survey Rush Limbaugh people:
They keep polling the same people who never read the news.
cuban leaf is optimistic that Obama will fall soon...
Unfortunately for Urkel, this is a three year storm.
E. Pluribus Unum joins the ranks of Freepers looking forwards to the inevitable economic collapse and subsequent race war. They all use roughly the same language too:
I'm almost looking forward to the day when the EBT cards stop working and the welfare class goes on the rampage that Ubama has scripted for them.

All those bullets the alphabet agencies have been stockpiling have their names on them.

  1. Better unskew those polls! Because that worked so well for President Romney!

    1. Didn't ya hear? Obama totally stole the election and were it not for the voter fraud [insert further insane ramblings here].

I miss the days of unskewed polls though. I just peaked over there for old times sake and found out that it weren't for voter fraud, Romney would have had like 359 electoral votes (including Oregon).

    2. Yeah, what's so funny about that is, why didn't the voter fraud work in 2000 or 2004? Especially in 2004 when liberals were highly motivated to get Bush out of office before he could do more damage.

But then again, this is FR we're talking about, where birtherism and Obama Derangement Syndrome run rampant. I wouldn't expect them to be logical or do anything resembling thinking.

  2. And now, the truth:

The RCP average of all the major polls show that Obama has a composite 45% approval rating. That would would mean a majority of Americans think he sucks big, hairy Muslim cock, much like Hitlery Clinton.

If Mitt Trotsky wasn't such a limp dick, Obama would be hiding from prosecution in his native Kenya right now.
