ReplyDeleteBlame the Zimmerman hullabaloo. Free Republic is in such a maximal racist mode that no commenters I could find really stood out. Or at least that weren't the low lying fruit I've already done spotlights on.

I would like to sincerely congratulate Free Republic for finally coming out of the closet. Now that Free Republic is a straight up racist site, they can they can stop pretending that they call the President the "Kenyan usurper" and such for any other reason. It's just racism plain and simple.

As a long time reader, I kind of feel like I am entitled to an answer.
Great question and I've been wondering it myself. I've never gotten a hateful racist vibe from Jim's posts. Bigoted but not to the degree that the people calling for deporting blacks, letting them abort themselves, murder is ok as long as it's one less black person. He just seems all about the cash but he's hurting himself because nobody but the hardcore racist are going to want to be involved with Freerepublic people will just go "Galt". He's had the rabble rousers for years and has kept them. Sad thing is the ones that I always thought were extreme are now the mildest.
