  1. Portraying the opposition as Hitler is a common thing among common people. But when the leaders, those who are running for office and others who have a public voice start doing it, it needs to be seen as a real threat. Especially when the people they're talking to make a point of carrying firearms around. I think Dan Savage had it right the other night on Countdown with Keith Olbermann when he said:

    "I really do think the Michelle Bachmanns of the world and the Glenn Becks of the world are actively and, consciously or subconsciously, trying to get, I'm just gonna say it, trying to get the President killed."
