Spotlight Friday: I want the USA back

While there is certainly a strong doctrine, Free Republic has more than it's share of contradictions - no amount of zotting can help some variance when you put a bunch of zealous conspiracy minded people together.

This guy? He's only been on Free Republic since 2012, but he believes all Freeper things at the same time. It's amazing, and a good review of current Free Republic doctrine

Hang on, this one could take a while.

Muslims are outbreeding us!
The bearded savages are being subsidized by the normal people.
The savages get to have multiple screaming little savages, while the normal people can have only one because they have to work two jobs to pay the taxes that go to the savages.
Sorta satire...
If it were a member of the middle eastern death cult, and she got on a prayer rug and started saying “death to the Jews and Christians, pigs and dogs” they would order the other kids to be quiet and let her pray in peace. Then they have a special prayer room build for her, complete with foot washers and kid-size bomb vests.
Global warming debunked by winter.
I would like an explanation for the current cold trend. Since last Summer.
Saying “global warming” is not a sufficient answer.
Talking about “cold fronts” from Canada is no explanation.
Saying “the wind is blowing cold air in from the Great Lakes” is no answer.

Of course the weatherjerks won’t answer this. The real reason is we don’t know. The weather and the climate go in cycles. Cold. Warm. Snow. Rain. Sun. Clouds. Repeat.
weatherjerks?

Don't need a crime to be a crimial:
The democrat party is a criminal organization.
End of Discussion.
First of all, the government does not have the right to set a minimum or maximum wage.
End of discussion.
Actually tilting at windmills:
Windmills are part of the religion of liberalism. There is no questioning them.
College scholarships and cell-phone plans are anti-White:
Tuition is high because it’s high only for rich White kids who can pay full tuition. It’s really not high for downtrodden, underpriveleged, have-nots. Cell phones are low because they are low-priced, and the cost is spread over all the people who pay for their phones.

Both are redistribution of wealth. Both are wrong.
Inflation means the minimum wage can't work:
Raise it, and all prices go up, so they will need to raise it again, and prices will go up again, etc.

Liberals always demand a strengthening of their failed laws, which leads to more failure, leading them to demand a strengthening of their laws .....
Secret inflation because Obama is controlled by the rich:
The administration is happy. Inflation is their best friend. Their friends in the media can claim that the economic indicators are going up. They are not going up. The dollar is worth less, and so you need more of them for the same purchasing power.

The ruling elite doesn’t care. Their pay and pension is inflation-adjusted. Normal people suffer and they don’t care.
Yeah, Obama loves the Illuminati:
No surprise at all for those of us who understand the One.

Hates the USA, of which he is the elected leader.
Loves members of a world-domination movement with one of its goals the elimination of our form of government.

No surprise at all.
Obama also loves to work with women over 40:
Too many dried up old humorless hags working for this administration. Wonder why 0 likes them?
The elite rich-loving left also controls the poor:
The left is happy. The permanent underclass that they created is rising up against their ‘oppressors.’

That means they have to hide the fact that the underclass that they created is made up of non-working violent feral savages who hate their ‘oppressors.’
The Media is making the knockout game happen:
When will the media start getting upset over the deliberate, racist attacks by a privileged minority?
Intelligence is genetic:
What a stupid idiot. There is something called IQ. It is a valid measurement of intelligence. To work in IT you need high intelligence. That’s why so many people from India excel in IT.
Liberal gun policies are a conspiracy:
As I have said too many times, liberals deliberately leave guns in the hands of violent criminals while striving to take them away from honest, law-abiding non-violent individuals.
Democrats can't use the Internet:
Some people just don’t have the mental capacity to use the internet. Most are democrat voters.
Feminists protesting against Hobby Lobby?
Out of control raging man-haters.
How Liberals work:
Liberals can’t see themselves. They are incapable of realizing that they have chosen to deny nature and humanity, and have chosen the destruction of human life.

They are too busy going around proclaiming how wonderful they are, and how proud they are of their actions.
Also how liberals work:
Liberals are self-loathing nihilistic pathetic creatures.

  1. To be fair, he got called on:

"What a stupid idiot. There is something called IQ. It is a valid measurement of intelligence. To work in IT you need high intelligence. That’s why so many people from India excel in IT. "

by people who actually have done the job for years. The entire thread is a slow train wreck, but at least two people are trying to apply the brakes. It doesn't succeed.

"Liberals are self-loathing nihilistic pathetic creatures. "

Dude, we keep telling you. That is a mirror, not a window.

Nice spotlight. I do wonder if he's real or a troll - he's a bit too perfect as a Freeper.

    2. Yeah, I would almost call him a troll or a poser, except that I have known types like him on both the left and the right ...
no original thoughts, but they are very good at remembering and repeating back any comments they have picked up from their respective blogospheres.

    3. Not a liberal, sorry. Conservative/Libertarian, just not one so blinded by hate and fear that he can't see straight.

You are perfectly correct on all 4 counts. What's being done about them though? Nothing but expansion - under both parties for the first three. Yes - the libs started them. The stupid party has never once tried to reign them in or fix them.

It would be electoral suicide to try - they mainly benefit older people who tend to vote more consistently Republican and much more often.
Find pretty much any Social Security discussion over on FR, and someone will, invariably in the first 20 comments, burst in with "I paid in. It's mine." Cut SS, or Medicare, or Medicaid, and you have a permanent Liberal government.

You know exactly what the problem is. Power corrupts and is more addictive than heroin. Want to stay in power? Well every 4 years or so, you have to talk to the unwashed masses and convince them to vote for you.

Easiest to do that by bribes and slogans rather than making hard choices that will take years to show a pay off. Gov. Walker got away with taking the hard choices route, but he's from a state of hard headed realists. Seriously, have you seen a Wisconsin winter!

Obamacare, we'll see. At least not a single R voted for it. The right warned that it was going to be a colossal fuck up and horrendously expensive, and indeed it is. The way it's going gives me hope for November. Keeping the House and taking the Senate should be the sole aim right now. We can squabble between ourselves later. Without a CONSERVATIVE Majority leader to rules monkey the Senate as to what bills hit the floor, we're screwed.
One of the reasons I think the attempt to primary Corryn is foolish. He's not bad - a 92% conservative rating.

      Sorry for the essay!

  2. This is actually true..a muslim client came over and he brought over 10-12 more and they brag about being on welfare/food stamps/various housing subsidies all the while working full time jobs being paid under the table..this happens a lot.

Yeah, that story really sounds totally real, and not at all like something you just pulled out of your ass for the occasion.

But even if it were true, I'd still prefer them as neighbors or coworkers to a schmuck like you.

    2. Indians do it also..they bring in their relatives and put them all on welfare while working in their cash business (gas stations/conv stores) you are all gulliable if you don;t know this is happening

Find latest welfare usage among refugees here (latest data available is from 2009): https://www.acf.hhs.gov/sites/default/files/orr/fy_2009_annual_report_to_congress.pdf

Find table TABLE II-14: Public Assistance Utilization Among refugees who arrived during the 5 years previous to the survey 57.7% are on government medical assistance such as Medicaid, about 25% have no health insurance at all, 70.2% are receiving food stamps, 31.6% are in public housing (an additional percentage is on a public housing waiting list), and 38.3 % are getting cash assistance such as TANF or SSI.

    3. Gee, who'd a thunk refugees would need assistance?

  3. When did you report them? And to who? If you haven't then YOU are the problem

  4. "When did you report them? And to who? If you haven't then YOU are the problem"

Fucking bingo. Though reporting them is not a perfect solution. Not without reporting their employer also - the IRS moves slightly faster than social services, though neither department is exactly formula one material.

If you are going to complain, complain in the right place. Just remember - no one likes a stoolie.

I'd go for "talismans of liberalism." myself.

  6. I love anon1's "shit that didn't happen" stories.

Tell us the the one about the welfare queen in line in front of you at the supermarket buying $10,000 worth of lobster tails and champagne with food stamps. I love that one!

The posts are all grumble, grumble grumble. Lots of talk about the durned gubmint!!!!

Sigh... I am so old that I remember the REA, the Rural Electrification Administration, otherwise known as the evil gubmint program that turned the lights on in rural Texas.

    Freepers are just fucking stupid.

    1. A fair number of them are just fine with the "eyesores" and "environmental damage" caused by oil spills and nuclear accidents, evidently; but to listen to them talk, windmills are the biggest menace to humanity ever. They don't seem to mind the subsidies we pay to oil and nuclear, either. I guess those boondoggles are just fine by them and their precious taxpayer dollars.

      Delete
    2. That's a really good point, anon. What about the gigantic tax breaks for the oil companies?

      Delete
    3. Why, that might be TENS of birds that are killed by windmills. Shut em down!
Meanwhile, there's another oil spill in Michigan. THOSE birds were just gonna die anyway.

    4. There was an oil spill in Galveston the other day too.

    5. Anonymous 9:57, I thought YOU motherless fucks hated things like parting with your money, especially for government subsidies for people who don't need the money. Like oil and gas, and coal and nuclear. GFY with your fake outrage.

    2. I am honestly surprised at how young she sounds. Though it's an hour I want back. Couldn't cope with the whole thing.

As far as the BC number thing goes:

Mom worked in a hospital (X-ray tech, not admin, but she had to work with them). It were a small one, served about 20k people. Any form - medical records, birth certificates, death certificates - are written in the order they are received. You get maternity bringing down 20 birth charts at once and dumping them in the inbox, you take the top one first and fill it in for signature. The proud parents are a bit unsure on what to name the blob? The chart hangs around for a while, while Joe and Jill Normal's child, where they'd done the usual parent thing and picked the name in advance, gets an earlier file number, despite being born hours later.

If you are in an office - look at your in tray. If it is scrupulously sorted by time and date, oldest first, either you or a colleague has a serious OCD problem.

    3. Believe me, many people have tried to explain this and many other things to BZ (myself included) and all she does is double down and look for ways we could be wrong. If she finds a way (and 99% of the time she will), then that becomes "what must have happened." If she can't, then it was an irrelevant detail that in no way takes away from her main point. She is seriously delusional and nothing will ever convince her she's on the wrong track.

    4. Pity. Still - it's a fairly harmless obsession compared to the usual ATS fare.

Still holding to the fact she has a rather nice voice though :P

Hope your weekend has been solid!

    5. Thing is, she not only has young children, she also teaches in her spare time. And she has indicated that her children have been affected by her delusions, including nightmares IIRC.

Anyway, yes I had a great weekend. I played in a concert last night, which ended our concert season.

    8. The Postcards series just uploaded?

Only listened to 2 so far (keep looping back to Salute to New York), but yes - it's the sort of stuff I like! I were raised on brass bands (marching or otherwise) and jazz.

Nice - and bookmarked. Can't comment there, no youtube account for me but it's class! :)

    9. Yup, that's it. When he's finished with the individual songs, he'll upload two videos, one of the entire first half and second half of the concert.

If you like marching bands, here's a video of last year's pride parade, bookmarked where you can see the trumpets doing their routine at the beginning of the song: http://youtu.be/JVNgCmSDYjU?t=21m12s
