Are True Conservatives A Minority In America?

America is mostly Freepers. It is only the evil media and mysterious corrupting influence of Washington DC that keeps their policies from sweeping into office!

LibLieSlayer lays it out for us:
America is CONSERVATIVE and AMERICA is not represented in DC.
Nicojones knows RINOS mean government has almost no Real Conservatives:
I believe real conservatives are only a minority in Government. The House RINOs that forced this through are way out of touch with their base. They’ve attacked the base, raised taxes (remember what happened to Bush #1 with “read my lips, no new taxes”), and challenged the tea party to form an opposition party by forcing this through.
Candor7 has a number he has made up for you:
Are True Conservatives A Minority In America?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Nope, they comprise 58% of the electorate, which is why the GOP cannot win without them.
angcat knows there is a problem, due to the epidemic of teen pregnancies that does not actually exist:
I don't know about that we have a young generation of pigs getting pregnant without any consequences it is spreading like wildfire. It is very hard to raise girls today. Seems my generation did not do a good job.
sergeantdave has decided Republicans are conservatives now, but not in Washington:
If you think conservatives are a minority, then you better explain how conservatives and Republicans control 28 states while liberals control 11 states.

There are two political battlefields: the states and Washington DC.
demshateGod thinks everyone has boring sex:
A vast majority of people are conservative in their personal lives.
demshateGod also knows Washington is beyond repair:
DC is the enemy of The People. A conservative working for DC, thinking they’re going to change something, is like a Jew working in Berlin, circa 1940.
Biggirl:
We are NOT a small minority and I REJECT this thinking outside of the box nonsense.

  1. demshateGod does have a point, in that the vast majority of Americans ARE conservative in their daily lives.
What he/she fails to grasp is that the vast majority of Americans are also liberal in their daily lives.

But i'm certain that demshateGod fails to define conservative/liberal correctly ...
both conservatives AND liberals are not out there committing crimes and having abortions left-and-right, nor having same-sex relationships.

The difference being ... conservatives are out there sticking their noses into everyone's private lives, being the real "nanny-staters".

So, the Christian baker who does not want to bake a cake for a gay couple is forced to via the courts..yeah libs are all for preaching tolerance but are the most intolerant bunch if someone else's views don't match their own.

Note to gay:: just go to the other 389 bakeries in the town that would be happy to bake you a cake....quit being such fuckin drama queens.
Gays= biggest intolerant freaks there are..

Most conservatives I have met can care less what gays do but don't want it shoved down their throats.

    4. You're the most religious, Bible-believing atheist I've ever seen. And if you don't like gays, too bad. Same-sex marriage will be legal in all 50 states within the next 10 years.

Guess what? If acknowledging someone's sexual orientation is so uncomfortable for you that you equate it with having something or other "shoved down your throat," you don't get to say that you don't care about it.

Why? Because your over-the-top reaction proves you care way too much...most likely because you've got some serious sexual issues of your own, but possibly because you're ignorant and proud of it.

The people who truly don't care what gays do are -- wait for it, now -- the ones who think they should have the same rights and protections as anyone else because obviously.

Emotionally secure heterosexuals do not care if gay people have consensual gay sex. The only people who care about this stuff are resentful, jealous, sexually crippled weirdos and religiously blinkered shutins. NO ONE ELSE CARES.

Please make a note of it.

    6. Except I don't hate religious people. As long as they're not forcing me to participate, I have no problem with them. Maybe you can take the same attitude with gay people?

    8. I might believe you, if you didn't spend all your time here bitching about gay people and liberals and calling them nasty names. People who, by the way, are not forcing you to participate in anything. Libertarians, for the most part, strike me as people who are extremely naive and who believe in concepts that have proven to be disastrous. But I don't have anything against them. I don't go to their forums or blogs and attack their beliefs and call them names.

  5. A good friend of mine, had a gay classmate as a friend for years, and also a cousin I grew up with..I'm libertarian..don't want people telling me I have to do with my own business.

I know plenty of gays who are fed up with the gays today..gay parades, the intolerance by gays.. not everyone walks lockstep.

Gays want everyone to be tolerant as long as it is something they agree with.. Sorry never sucked cock..just not into guys.. but I do like to rim my wifes hot ass..does that count??

  7. So your real problem is all these Civil Rights laws.

Have a great time with Rand Paul being against the Civil Rights act of 1965. Clearly you are too pure and libertarian for this cruel world.

Don't care what people do but have a problem with savages who create crime and gays and rad fems who need to get a life and leave people alone if they don't agree with them

    5. That sounds good, heck I could even agree with some of what you say there, but your implementation leaves much to be desired. You seem to use your anti-crime views as an excuse to hate black people, you see women and gays fighting to have their civil rights recognized as people who "need to get a life", and you seem to use abuses of the welfare system to hate poor people.

  10. Don't care what people do but have a problem with savages who create crime and gays and rad fems who need to get a life and leave people alone if they don't agree with them

No ability to see that the country's biggest and most destructive criminals sit in corporate boardrooms, and look a lot more like Mitt Romney than Trayvon Martin?

    Yeah, you're a libertarian, alright.

People you don't agree with—precisely because they care about real-world inequality that you either ignore or support—need to "shut up"and "get a life" and "leave people alone," the glorious libertarian doctrine of PERSONAL FREEDOM notwithstanding? Which makes perfect sense and is not at all hypocritical because, like, fuckin' bitches, man, amirite?

    Yeah, you're a libertarian, alright.

Complaining that being obliged—by laws you claim to support— to refrain from oppressing people—whom you claim you don't want to oppress—somehow equals having a belief "shoved down your throat," while remaining blind to the fact that libertarians as a class are not only a lot shriller than gays when it comes to insisting that other people acknowledge and acclaim their "lifestyle," but are also much more successful at forcing their beliefs on the rest of us legislatively?

    Yeah, you're a libertarian, alright.

Sweeping philosophical statements and social generalizations that, when dissected, boil down to a bunch of socially inept, irrationally angry white dumbasses screaming "me me me me me me me!" until their faces go purple?

    Yeah, you're a libertarian, alright.

Stupid people who breed (welfare queens, criminals) I have a problem with.

Stupid people? Give me a fucking break. The whole attraction of libertarians is that it justifies stupid people in thinking that they're the smartest guys in the room, while elevating their nitwit prejudices and middlebrow preferences to a Cosmic Principle and basically arresting them for life at the level of teenage boys who don't think they should have to take out the garbage if they didn't personally throw anything in it.

Historically speaking, successful libertarians in this country have been a far greater drain on taxpayers than welfare queens, thanks to their doctrine of privatized profits and socialized losses. The average libertarian is a guy who'll climb onto a pile of taxpayer dollars, add a twenty from his wallet, and say "Behold my accomplishments, puny mortals!"

But, y'know, despite all those beliefs, which I'll wager are at least as passionate as yours, I'll still sell them things and do work for them, as long as the price is right, because it seems kind of silly -- not to mention impractical -- to make customers and clients fill out a goddamn questionnaire to make sure their views are in perfect lockstep with mine. Go figure!

Right. Because the choice we face today, as Americans, is between libertarianism and Stalinism or Maoism. So if you're not in favor of one, you must want the other!

      Nice false dilemma there, moron.

  12. I've heard of holocaust denial, but denial of mass murder under communism? It's common knowledge that Stalin killed 40 million and Mao killed about 60 million. And I'm not counting Kim, Castro or Pol Pot.

The second one is common knowledge, since government was small and not burdensome like today.

The last one may be an opinion, but I challenge you to name a better country than this.

So it's your contention that Stalin and Mao killed 100 million people because they were communists? And here I thought it was because they were brutal dictators. Silly me.

The second one is common knowledge, since government was small and not burdensome like today.

The country was also very small back then. We also didn't have high speed travel or communications. Do you think that the exact same government that governs a small fledgling country can govern a major superpower?

The last one may be an opinion, but I challenge you to name a better country than this.

"Better" as far as what? About the only thing we're better at nowadays is military might. Many countries are better than us in healthcare, education, economy and fighting poverty.

Of course, not that my response was saying anything about which country was the best, but that you were making a logical fallacy, namely circular reasoning.
