Nuke more countries

MDaF found this shorty.

So back in the day we nuked the crap out of Japan. Twice. People still debate the morality of this decision. Freepers' sociopathic view of the non-Israeli foreign world allows them to move beyond that, and to more important questions. To whit, where to nuke next.

YHAOS knows Obama woulda surrendered to Hitler.
Thank God for men like that back then, and a country that could do something like the Manhattan Project

If we had today's leaders back then, the war would have been lost.
Road Glide prophecies the coming nuclear crusade:
Back when wars were fought with no regard to the cost - only the outcome.

Someday the war with Islam will have to be fought that way as well.

If not, the “outcome” will be inevitable.

And it will “cost” The West its freedom, perhaps forever.
I wonder if Balding_Eagle is pro-life?
It was a big mistake not to kill hundreds of thousands, millions, following 9/11.
GGpaX4DumpedTea thinks Japan was innocent, and liberals are not nuking America.
it was the Leftist government of FDR & Truman that did this terrible thing to that poor innocent country known as Japan. And now the Leftists in Govt are doing it to this country.
Hmmm...pulling a Slayton?

Hmmm, checking his recent posts, we may need to do a spotlight on him sometime soon... I think US Navy Vet is making a joke, but I don't get it.

  2. In my original post I linked to the wrong Hiroshima thread... Here is the article linked to Truman's grandson visiting Japan.

"The atomic bombs saved lives. Lots of lots of Japanese lives, and also many American lives were saved because of the bombs. I think of Hiroshima and Nagasaki as possibly the greatest humanitarian acts in the 20th century."

I lived in Japan for 7 years, and I still work for the Japanese gov't. After talking with many Japanese people I'm always surprised to hear that even they debate about the atomic bombings. I've never heard someone condone the bombings, but they acknowledge the alternative would have been horrific.

Usually their attitude is fuck the ultra-nationalistic, militaristic dicks that got us into that situation.
