I don't know what to think anymore

To underscore Freeper disarray re: frontrunner Newt. Especially with Glenn Beck gething some of Newt's more goverment-y suggestions.

Grunthor knows Obama loves Romney:

Great. We’re going to nominate that POS Romney. MSM and Obama get their way. Again.

Lazamataz will vote for Romney:

I simply don’t care. Romney is a pale Obama. Newt isn’t great, but he’s way better.

jakerobins is down on Newt:

Anyone who has listened to Newts love of FDR “being able to get things DONE” should know!
I want to beat Obama as badly as the next person...but we don’t need a BIG Gov’t Republican to do the job. Time to look a little further down the line

Oldeconomybuyer on the other hand, knows the left is terrified of the frontrunner:

The left attacks those who they fear.

the left including Glenn Beck these days, it seems. And thosee they fear include Palin and Cain.

Diogenesis makes that explicit:

Thanks for informing us that this is a plant
from the RomneyBOT Beck.

That make this another Romney dirty trick,
this time launched by the RomneyBOT Beck.

jersey117 looks to old, discarded frontrunners:
There is an alternative which has been greatly overlooked and underestimated by many here. His name is Governor Perry. Three-term Governor Rick Perry of the great and prosperous state of Texas. He's out there championing conservative values, has several key endorsements and has a plan to send Congress home to get real jobs and live in their own states under the laws they pass. Why not give him a second look.
skeeter has a dark horse:
I'd rather nominate Rick Santorum, who by all accounts is a solid conservative and always has been, but too many are still angry with him for a political mistake he made eight years ago, and besides they think he looks funny.

So Newt's it.
Hacklehead doesn't get why we can't all unite and hate Obama.

The RATS just love sitting back and watching the Republican party implode. We are doing their work for them by tearing down our most likely nominees. I propose a solution.
Rather than saying Newt sucks or Romney sucks, or they BOTH suck, we need to change our attitude.
If you are a Newt supporter phrase your arguement that “Romney is great, but Newt is better”.
If you like Romney, “Newt is great but Romney is better”.

The fact is that both these guys are great COMPARED TO OBAMA. OBAMA is the one we should be tearing down, on gun walker, solyndra, health care, the lost drone, etc.
Continuing to attack our candidates weakens them with voters and insures an Obama victory.
Neither of our guys is a Reagan but they are a damn site better than the America hating Marxist in chief and his band of flying monkeys.

Seriously. Ignore the divisive primary, concentrate on hating Obama!

  1. Dear Freepers,

I am going to help you out. Pay attention, this is a message to you from the real world.

The candidate we liberals/Democrats fear is Mitt Romney. President Obama has been a rather moderate, centrist administrator and this has lost him some support on the left. Romney can pick up some of those votes. The Independents are more likely to vote for Romney than any of the extremists you're backing including Gingrich.

If you want to win this thing, get in line and back your man Romney. This is your election to lose. The economy sucks and the sitting President is always blamed for that, right or wrong.

Are you guys really going to screw this up? Are you so freaking crazy that you are going to run Newt? I just can't believe it. Cooler heads will prevail and Romney will be the candidate.

To win Romney is going to need the nutball vote too. That's you. Get in line, Freepers, get in line.

    Yours truly,
    Planet Earth

  2. No matter how conservative the candidate, they're always NOT CONSERVATIVE ENOUGH for Freepers. They won't be happy until somebody resurrects Hitler himself to run on the gawp ticket!

  3. Wow, Anon, that's really good advice. Good thing Freepers are too crazy to take it.

And Durango, the funny thing is that Freepers keep moving the goalposts back to just crazier than the current frontrunner. Now that it's Newt, they think Santorum and Bachmann are totally fine when once they were dangerous socialists.
